Deed
A deed is a legal document that grants a privilege or a right to the bearer based on certain obligations or meeting of conditions. Deeds, like contracts, need the mutual agreement by two persons or parties. However, a deed can be enforced without consideration, unlike a simple contract and is a legal instrument that confirms or transfers title (ownership) or interest to a property or asset from one party to another. While the bearer receives the ownership, he or she must not cause undue hardship to others or to the society. In a case where the bearer, being a holder of the deed, poses a certain risk, he or she may be restricted in his or her liability to use the benefit of such title or interest.
