Debt consolidation loans: Collate your debts into one loan

Debt consolidation loans may be seen as a boon to bad credit borrowers. Not only does it provide timely financial assistance, it also converts all the multiple debts into one loan package.
With the national debt index rising, the UK government has finally opened its eyes to the malaise that is striking the country for quite some time. Every one out of four individuals has an IVA or CCJ (County Court Judgement) against his name. In other words, quite a lot of UK citizens have a bad credit score against their name.

In most case, individuals have incurred adverse credit scores due to circumstances beyond their control. Their monthly income might have suffered a set back because of job redundancies, expensive marriage alimony and child care support. This may hamper their repaying capacity, which may lead to multiple debts.

In most cases, people may have to take loans for repaying of their multiple debts. With the loan market becoming more flexible, more and more lenders are offering debt consolidation loans to prospective customers. These loans are specifically created for customers having a bad credit score.

A bad credit score might be due to missed payments or defaults on overdrafts, credit or store cards, mortgages or loans. As the name suggests; consolidation loans collate all the pending debts into one loan package. Borrowers are required to pay a monthly instalment to the lender for his timely financial assistance.

Once a borrower agrees to the lenders terms and conditions, the loan amount will be sanctioned to him. The principal sum that can be borrowed against debt consolidation loans depend on a lot of factors. For example, even if the borrower has a bad credit score but his DTI (debt to income) ratio is good enough or is going to improve in the near future, the lender may still grant you a considerable amount with a low interest rate.

Most online financial sites offer debt consolidation loans all over UK. Some even offer their financial services in Northern Ireland. Depending on your requirement and financial capacity, borrowers may apply for secured or unsecured debt consolidation loans.
