DEBBIE - Chapter 13 &14
Debbie gets a surprise from Farai... is Emma really happy about it? You never know. Debbie returns back home as well and something awaits her tomorrow. It seems as though she's never really stable.
CHAPTER 13
''Well I had a great time today Debz.'' Farai said looking into my eyes.
''Me too... hey look, it's a full moon tonight.'' I said pointing to the dark sky filled with shinny stars and a bright moon.
''Good... perfect night.''
I looked down to Farai.
''What do you mean perfect night?''
Farai looked at me; he held my hands and said.
''Debbie... I know I'm not so good with poetry and stuff but...''
I started giggling. I then remembered an instance when Farai tried poetry on me when we were still in high school. He said something like this...'' my love... you are my chocolate chocolated by the first chocolators...'' hahaha, what a rhyme.
''Don't laugh Debbie... I'm trying here...'' he said laughing as well.
''Ok I won't laugh...'' I said, looking at him with that almost bursting out smile.
''Ok as I said, I'm not best with poetry, but Debbie... since I've known you, I've known love. And now that I've known love, I've gotten to know you more. For me love is all about you and living for you. I've dedicated my life to education, which is to learn more about you. Knowing what you want, when you want and how you want it. To know the things that make you cry so that I never cross that line...''
''Oh Farai...'' I said with tears in my eyes. This was so sweet. I felt butterflies in my stomach as he went on.
''Debbie, my prayer to God is that he give me the strength to love you each day, you are my hearts desire. You set my heart on fire. Your smile alone is like essence of life to me...''
I smiled and laughed as tears ran down my cheeks.
''... Your voice has got the enticing power of ecstasy. Your touch is my dream come true... and everything else just draws me closer to you. I am sure, 100% sure that I will never love anyone again the way I love you. I don't ever want to be with another woman. I have found home because I have found you. I love you forever and ever more...''
''Oh Farai... I love you too...'' I gave him a hug and he wiped my tears.
''Debbie, for all these reasons I've just said, I've realized that I want you to be mine forever...''
He then started going down on his knees... oh my gosh! I knew what he was about to do... This only meant one thing. OMG!

CHAPTER 14
''Oh my gosh... oh my gosh!'' Emma screamed splashing water in my face. Ah! I swam away from her to the other side of the pool.
''Oh common don't kill me!'' she said swimming toward me.
''Please please, so he got on his knees then? Did he propose?'' she asked with bright curious eyes.
''Well...'' I said, delaying the answer.
''Well?'' she said coming closer to me.
''Yes! Yes! He proposed yesterday at the party!'' I said, screaming and splashing water.
''Ah! Ohhhh! My!'' Emma screamed as well, splashing water.
''You are so lucky...'' Emma said, calming herself down.
''Yea I know...'' I said, jumping out of the pool and grabbing a towel.
''Wow... that's nice... so what did you say?'' Emma said, jumping out of the pool and grabbing her towel. I lay down on the beach chair and covered myself with sun cream. Emma sat next to me and shook me fearsly.
''Tell me, of course you said YES...'' she said rolling her eyes.
''Well... not really.'' I said.
''Not really? What! Girl you've found yourself a good catch and you let him pass? What were you thinking?'' she said furious and getting up. I started laughing very hard.
''What's funny?'' she said, putting her hands on her waist.
''I'm kidding... of course I said yes.''
''Ah... I knew it... you guys are so meant to be. You are so lucky girl.''
Emma kept saying that over and over again that I'm so lucky. It started getting a bit weird.
The day passed by and Emma and I enjoyed it. We watched movies. She gave me some souvenirs since I was returning home today with aunt Seth. I didn't want to leave but neither could I stay here forever. It was almost supper time and Emma decided to show me something.
''I've never showed any of my friends because my dad doesn't allow me to. Trust issues don't worry. But I trust you now... you're my best friend.''
''Ah... you are my best friend too.''
Emma opened a chest in the store room and took mouth the most beautiful sculpture I've ever seen.
''Wow!'' I said.
''You can touch it, its real gold...''
I touched it and it was beautiful. It shinned so much I could see my reflection in it.
''It's beautiful... but what is it for?'' I asked.
''It's for my dad being a king. This... this right here is the most important thing of a king.''
I didn't understand, what's so important about it other than that its real gold? But anyway...
''Ok... let's get out of here before my dad sees us.''
We got out and she just closed the door and started walking.
''Hey!'' I screamed.
''What?''
''I thought you said this thing is important?''
''Yea it is...''
''So you don't lock the room?''
''No... no one steals in this village, if you do... oh oh oh...too bad for you.''
I laughed and we went to the table.
''Thank you for this food, amen.''
''Amen''
''Amen''
''Amen''
''Please pass the sauce.'' Emma's mom said.
The food here was nice. Emma smiled at me as she goggled her chicken.
''Uhmmm... your highness and you majesty...''
''Oh by all means, call us mom and dad.'' Emma's dad said.
''Thank you, uhhhm... mom, dad... I wanted to thank you for your hospitality and letting me stay here for a while.''
''Oh pleasure Debbie, you can come here any time.''
''And thank you for everything Emma, I love you...'' I gave her a hug and she said,
''Debbie, u'll always be my friend, you are not far away... they may be houses parting us, but u'll always be with me.''
We gave each other a hug. After the food I was taken home by Emma's driver only to wait for tomorrow's hell again. What had happened again?
