Death In A Memory

Some of my typical emo kid poetry. *smiles* Go figure.
Your smile, your warmth,
Your arms open wide,
I miss you
Your scent, your taste
Your skin pressed to mine,
I miss you
Hands clutching, your breathing
Getting faster and shallow
I miss you
The heat of our moment
Choked sobs I can’t swallow
I miss you
Legs crumple, heart shatters
I scream out your name
I miss you
Heart racing, eyes searching,
For a trace of our flame
I miss you
Razor biting, blood flowing,
A ruby river on the floor
I miss you
How often I dreamed that
You cared a little more
I miss you
Life flickering, thought fading,
And I wonder this last—
Will you miss me?
Death enters with laughter
Down my hopes he will cast
"He won’t miss you."
