Death Happens

A short blimp inside my head. Not really a story just a thought bubble.
It lurks. Clawing its way towards us, we try to stay out of its reach. Reaching for our ankles, it gets closer. Grabbing out skin and climbing up. Nails digging into our body, it leaves marks behind. It tears us apart. Inside and outside it crawls. Eating away at our soul, it forces us to change. To adapt. We make way for its presence even though it wasn’t invited into our lives. It finds all of us. The small and the weak, the strong and the brave, the normal and the smartest, and everyone else are victims to it.
It is a necessary process in the circle of life. Maybe it will be painful and hard. Maybe it will be swift and easy. No one knows when or how it will happen we just know it will. If there is one promise in life that can be forever kept is death. Always sneaking around every decision you make whether simple or hard.

Sometimes it is hard to accept, because it is impossible to expect. But we mustn’t cringe at the thought. We must embrace into our open arms. Welcoming it into our homes, we must realize that it is vital to the human race. We should live with the knowledge that it is out there floating around. We should live like we know there might not be a tomorrow. Live like your loved ones might be fading away as we speak.
Whether there is a car crash or a shooting. Death happens so be ready.
