I know that you can’t be here beside me now
Your wonderful glow and sparkling smile
Were only meant to fade
Were are u now what do you do is what I think each day
It’s been so long and yet your heart and soul still remain
I miss your smile your wonderful spirit
And words you use to say
I miss your wisdom and strength you gave to me each day
Why did you leave me why did you let go?
I hope were you are you are
You’re happy as can be
The only thing I think about is you and who you were
But in the end was it painful
And why were you cold?
I'm sorry for not letting you go
I'm sorry for not forgetting
But you were my dearest friend
And person I could trust
I end this now with love to add onto your spirit
