Death By Tears

Standing in the rain, thinking about everything that has happened, and slowly wasting away.....
It pours rain without a sound
falling endlessly from the clouds above
and I lurk in the silent corner of society
as the frigid water beats my body down.
I just can't seem to get enough...

Pain...

Numbing my skin; chilling to the bone
I've kept myself from going insane
even though anything would be better than this
because my soul feels empty and alone.
From this I've learned there is no gain
as I lurk in love's dark abyss...

Rain...

A stream flows right under my feet
and a rose petal floats in the water
as memories begin to flood in.....
Time flies by encasing beauty in sleet;
only then do I question and ponder
the trueness of myself and goodness within
as I stand in the rain...

Crying...

These thoughts of hat I though could be
make me wonder how I didn't know
the truth behind everything; it's hard to believe,
but from the pain reality shows
what you really thought of me
and I lie here...

Dying...

So as I sit I cry
and tears mix in with the rain
with memories of the past bringing torment here;
pain and horror embracing me
as I slowly fade away...

Just another death by tears.....
