How would Ray react after he found out that Lola was actually his baby girl? Will he snatch Lola away from Mikaela? It's for you to find out NOW :D
A/N : Hey hey! As promised, I posted chapter 14! :D I'm sorry if it's late. I needed some time to plan and then check my grammatical mistakes. Thus, I apologize sincerely to everyone :) And sorry if there are any grammatical mistakes in this chapter. I hope you really enjoy this chapter because this chapter, by far, was the best I've wrote in this story. Please, sit back, enjoy and tell me what do you think :D

I have no choice but to tell him the truth. I didn't want to but I have to.
"No. I don't have any. " I looked down on the floor.
Ray stood up immediately and paid for the bill.
"Let's go. We've got some talking to do. " Ray seized my wrist and pulled me out of the restaurant.
"It hurts, Ray! Let me go. " I shoved his hands away from me and ran away but he caught me in time.
"Don't... Don't you think of running away from me again. I'm not going to allow that to happen, Mikaela! " Ray pulled me closer to his chest and stared at me.
Knowing that Ray is going to take Lola away from me, tears immediately welled up in my eyes. Why did it have to happen this way? I knew I don't have the right to speak, that's why I shut my mouth for the whole journey.
"Please. " I mumbled so that he couldn't hear. I thought he was going to bring me to his house, but what I'd thought was wrong. He brought me back to my home.
"I want to see my baby girl." Ray requested. The way he said ' baby girl ' made my heart pound.
I took the keys from my bag and led him to the living room.
"Sit first. Blair is babysitting Lola. " I explained. He listened to me.
Shuffling up the stairs, my heart was beating so loud I could hear it. I walked in the bedroom and found out Blair was playing with Lola. I took Lola downstairs after explaining the incident to Blair. Blair walked out the apartment and went downstairs. Her apartment was, few floors below mine.
"Princess Lola... Did you have fun? " I smiled at my little baby.
"Can I carry her? " Ray stared at her and was unwilling to turn his head, afraid that Lola might disappear anytime. "Sure." I answered. Ray took her over and looked into her eyes. It was as if time stopped at that moment and to Ray, nothing else mattered in this world anymore as long as Lola was in his arms. Lola giggled happily in Ray's embrace and touched his face with her small little hands.
"What's her name? " Ray asked impolitely.
"Lola. Lola Midnight. " I stuttered.
"She named after your last name. " Ray sneered sarcastically. " Seems like you really want me out of your life. Oh wait! Not only yours but hers too. My baby's life! How dare you... " Anger boiled in his body like a water in a hot kettle.
"Lola should go to bed for now. " I interrupted and took Lola away from him.
"Goodnight, darling. " I kissed her cheek.
"How dare you hide her from me! " Ray pulled me closer to him so that I would look into his eyes when he talked to me.
"Ray... " I wanted to explain but nothing came out.
"Nothing to say huh? I was wondering why did you run away from me the first time we met each other 2 years ago. Now I know why. " Ray sputtered.
"Ray, I'm sorry. But please! Lola is the only reason why I'm living now. Please! You can have as many babies as you can. I don't care. But Lola is my one and only baby so please! Don't take her away. I need her and she needs me as well. " I sat down on the couch as if my life depended on it.
"Mikaela, why? I don't get it. Why do you hate me so much? " Ray knelled down in front of me and cupped my face. " Do you know how much I've suffered since you left me? Do you know how heartache I felt when I needed you the most and you weren't there? " Ray took my hands and placed it on his chest." Inside here, I feel you. Inside here, the desire to have you is more powerful than anything else. It is burning so badly that it might explode anytime. Do you have any idea how much I need you, Mikaela? " Ray sobbed. For the first time in my life, Ray cried in front of me. No matter how hard his life or work has been, he'd never cried or sighed or even whined in front of me. But today, tonight, he cried, and sobbed like a little child.
"I'd never want this to happen between us," Ray.
"I'd never expected it to happen either. But it just happened. So quickly that I regretted but couldn't turn back time. If I'd known I was pregnant, I would have stayed by your side. But now it's too late. Everything is too late. " I sighed and tears started to stream down my cheeks.
"No... No! It's not! " Ray seized my wrists so tight it hurt me. " Please! Let me compensate these 2 years time that we have wasted. Share with me all your agonies and pain that you have felt for last 2 years. I would do anything to be with you and our baby. It's not too late yet. We have something with us. Lola, our baby girl. " Ray explained and clasped me to his manly chest, like a ferret on heat.
"Ray... " I sobbed in his embrace but he pulled me away from his arms and lowered his head." No, Ray. " I refused.
"Shh.. I've been waiting for you for so long. I've been wanting you since the last night we had." He placed one finger on my lips and beckoned me to stop talking. I lowered my head so he couldn't see me blushing. But he caressed my supple cheek, lifted my chin and our noses almost touching. I could feel the warmth of his breath brushing at the top of my lip. I looked into his pale blue eyes, parting my lips slightly. I leant towards him, yielding to the soft strength of his kiss, that engulfed me, gaining my strength until I found myself wrapped up to him - body, heart and soul.
I knew I had to be with this man no matter what. Not only because I love him and he is the father of my child, but because he needs me and loves me too. I knew deep down in my heart, I still love this man.
