Dark Waters - Chapter 3B - Decision

How could you do this to me! Hunter screams in his mind, sudden anger flaring in his heart as he watched Amanda who had a faint frown on her brow. He just about pulled back his lips and snarled but he say the rest of Le Conseil looking at him in time to not snarl at her. Incendiera smiled coldly at him and had Amanda sit in a chair away from the actual Council.
"Sit here and wait until we’re done with this case," Incendiera says before walking up and grabbing Hunter and dragging him forward.
"This is Mr. Hunter Panthera, a rogue shape shifter who attacked the traqueur and recruiter Kim," Incendiera says with a slight smirk. Kim begins to stand up, objection on her face but Incendiera glares at her and Kim sits back down. Hunter glares at Kim and shows her one canine tooth which seemed more like a fang at the moment.
Illuminata looks at Incendiera with a pointed glare,
"And what proof do you have of this Incendiera?" she asks, her voice innocently sweet.

"Ms. Kim can testify as can I," Incendiera says, locking gazes with Illuminata as they glare at each other. Noir seems to sigh as he stands up, his dark long coat swirling around him before his voice rings through the hall.
"Fine then. How about we hear what Ms. Kim has to say and then what Mr. Hunter has to say instead of just taking this ‘rogue’s’ words," Noir practically growls, his eyes flashing red when he says rogue.
"Noir," Illuminata says, her voice slightly harsher than usual. Noir looks at her and seems about to say something before his gaze meet’s Illuminata’s top guard and they meet gazes. Noir quickly sits down and becomes silent again.
"Let us follow Noir’s advice," Illuminata says, putting her hand on Noir’s in a comforting gesture for just a moment.

Kim stands up and moves to the center of the hall. She takes a deep breath and begins to speak,
"I am a traqueur and recruiter for Le Conseil, as many of you know. I am also under Incendiera’s command. I was sent to find Ms. Amanda Alexander and recruit her or bring her here, by force if necessary. Ms. Alexander had also met Mr. Panthera a few years before and I was assigned to be Mr. Panthera’s traqueur and to make sure he did not become rogue. It was discovered that I was a recruiter and that I was there to recruit Ms. Alexander and when I ran he followed after, perhaps planning to attack. He caught up to me but… refrained from attacking and here I am now, without a scratch on me. He never touched me," Kim says, hesitating for a moment when her story should come to the part about Hunter but she went around that ‘little’ detail. After a few seconds of silence she went back to her spot while Hunter was dragged forward.

"Please relate your side of the story Mr. Panthera," Illuminata says gently, almost as if she knew the pain Hunter was in.
"My side is the same as how Kim told it," Hunter says, still very angry but realizing that Kim’s story would be the more likely to get him out of trouble.
Incendiera practically hisses and takes a step toward the two of them but immediately Illuminata is up and heading toward Incendiera,
"Incendiera. You have made your two accusations now. Amanda is now a part of Le Conseil and Mr. Panthera will be subject to observation until we are sure he is not a threat. Kim and Amanda shall watch over him and he shall do whatever they say. As for you. You are banned from your seat on Le Conseil and your path to redemption is to go out onto the human battle fields and protect the humans from the supernatural on the battle fields. You are to be a ‘Sorceress’," Illuminata says, naming the rank in Le Conseil of the people who go out during human wars and take down the supernatural units and protect the human soldiers. Becoming a Sorceress was one of Illuminata’s worst nightmares.

Incendiera’s eyes widen and she opens her mouth to protest but she is quickly hauled out of the room by guards.
"Mr. Panthera. Please take Amanda to her room. If you harm her in any way you will be killed on sight," Illuminata says before turning to Kim.
Hunter snarls slightly at Amanda, who takes a step away from the hostile sound, before he speaks calmly but with an edge of anger and almost hatred,
"Follow me Ms. Amanda," Hunter says, leading the way to her room without touching her.
