Still going with one part per day : D Made this one longer than the last though I really didn't get too long to work on it. I'll be a bit busy for the next few days but I'll try to keep little bits coming for everyone. The pace is finally starting to pick up and the good romance is coming for all those romance junkies out there. Oh and this is the end of chapter 1. Next comes chapter 2 (finally).
Note: Parts of this chapter may be innapropriate for children. (Mostly bloody scenes) but I'll let you be the judge of that. Just a warning.

Amanda woke up about three hours after Hunter had left. She opened her eyes, though there was no point, and bolted upright out of her bed, accidentally running into bed post. Kim chuckled quietly, putting a hand on Amanda’s shoulders to steady her.
"Your not usually so… frantic in the morning Amanda. What’s wrong?" Kim asked, not smiling like you would think a person would be.
"Where’s Hunter?" Amanda asks, trying to break free of Kat’s grip, which had changed from playful and steadying to tight and restraining, "Kim. What’s wrong?"
"Hunter left about three hours ago Amanda…" Kim says, remembering Hunter shifting to panther form and leaping out the window thinking that she was asleep. A million thoughts were running through her mind right now. If Hunter had left and wasn’t coming back then she would have to leave the school and move to a different place to keep track of him. But that would mean leaving Amanda alone, which she couldn’t do either. Her orders from Le Conseil said that she had to keep track of Hunter Panthera and Amanda. While Kat was thinking what to do Amanda was beginning to panic.
"I’m going to go out for a while, Kim. If you need me I’ll have my cell phone with me," Amanda says, hearing the clock chime twelve o’clock. Before Kim has a chance to say anything Amanda turns and leaves the room, trying not to run down the hallway and outside. She could hear the rain outside hitting the streets and sidewalks heavily and she wanted to be in the rain, temporarily being free from the problems of the world.
Kim sighed as she watched Amanda almost bolt down the hallway. Amanda wasn’t quite acting like herself. She had always been strong and confident, for her it came from the fact of being blind and not having the same chances as everyone else. But even though she was strong she had always smiled and seen the good in most things even though she cried when she thought no one was around. But this time she had seemed almost emotionless.
Kim was a little worried that Hunter would cause Amanda even more pain now than he had when he left her at the high school and never came back. Kim had seen it all and knew much more than either Amanda or Hunter thought she did, it was her job. So Kim pulled on the black shirt and pants, tied back her hair, and went to the window. Tracking and stealth was her ability and it was why Le Conseil had taken her in.
Kim leaped out of the window, flipping to land on the next rooftop on her feet before immediately breaking into a run, looking down on Amanda running in the streets. Even though Amanda was blind she noticed things people with sight could not. She could sense the supernatural better than most humans. It was referred to by Le Conseil as ’The Sixth Sense’ and was very valuable to their operations. Most often it came in people who had lost one of their senses and all the rest were heightened. Almost all humans had a slight appearance of ’The Sixth Sense’ but they had too many other senses telling them that it couldn’t be real.
The supernatural surrounded all the humans of the world and almost none of them realized it. Le Conseil, which was French for The Council, was an organization which took in the few humans who had supernatural abilities and taught them how to use their powers, deal with the supernatural, and then sent them out on missions to protect the ‘normal’ humans from the supernatural.
Most supernatural creatures were kind and didn’t cause trouble but as in all races there were a few creatures which were ‘evil’ and killed just to kill. Kim had been a young girl of only three when she had her first contact with one of the evil creatures.
Sixteen Years Ago Somewhere in the Middle of South Dakota
A little girl with light bronze skin and dark brown hair in pigtails ran out of a little house with only five rooms. It was the first snow of the year and the little girl was covered in her coats , hats, gloves, and other winter clothing. She laughed and spun around, catching the snow flakes on her tongue. She giggled and ran to her mother, who had dark brown skin but white hair the color of the snowflakes falling from the sky.
"Mommy, mommy! Look at the pretty snowflakes!" the little girl giggled, jumping up and down as her mother smiled down at her.
"Yes, Kim. They’re beautiful aren’t they. But not only is it beautiful but it helps nature and serves a purpose. Never forget that nature is your friend and that as long as you take care of it, it will take care of you. Ok little one?" her mother had said, smiling at her before looking at the door as Kim’s father came out. He had really white skin, dark brown eyes, and almost black hair. Kim ran to her father and hugged him as well before the whole family turned and watched the wonder of the first snow. Unfortunately this would be the last snow the family would see together.
Suddenly the snow started swirling more around one spot and a figure appeared within the swirl of snow. Kim’s mother looked at the creature in the swirl, something with skin whiter than snow, white eyes with no iris or pupil; sharp, serrated teeth; long white hair that touched the ground, and a white gown. It hissed at Kim’s mother who picked the shocked and frightened Kim up and gave her to her father.
Only moments later Kim’s father was running with Kim in his arms. Kim watched the fight between her mother and the white creature over her father’s shoulder. The fighting was ferocious and Kim’s mother eventually fell to the creature’s claws. That moment had changed Kim’s life forever. The normal life that she had always dreamed she had, marred by that one moment where her mother’s crimson blood splattered across the unblemished white snow.
Kim’s father hid her away and told her to very quietly sneak away before he went out to try and stop the creature. Before he even spoke his blood was also covering the snow. That image haunted Kim to this day, though she barely remembered the parents from her childhood. She had quietly snuck away, somehow sensing when the creature got close or when it was looking in her direction so she knew when to move and when to be absolutely still. After hours of evading the creature a group of people arrived and easily killed it.
Kim had tried to hide from them but one of the people had found her and brought the others over. A women with crimson hair and a scarred face had smiled at her and reached out to her and gently taken her into her arms before carrying her into a van.
After they had taken her back to Le Conseil they discovered she had supernatural abilities and so raised her for her role in Le Conseil, or at least one very small part of it. She was a traqueur, French for tracker, and her assignments were Hunter Panthera and Amanda Alexander, though for what reasons she did not.
All these thoughts went through her mind as she leapt from roof top to roof top, following after Amanda as she unknowingly headed straight toward Hunter… and another creature. Which Kim had only detected now.
For a split second she slowed before cursing, "Damn it!" she murmured, unsure of what she was supposed to do.
For not only was Amanda heading straight to Hunter… but also straight toward rogue shape shifter Alexon.
