Dark Secrets

New mysterious transfer student...
Chapter 1

It was another dark winter morning and I was just about to get up. I just hate going to school on winter. I opened the window to see droplets of rain pouring down on the ground outside.
Weird...though I expected it to rain I was still amazed as I saw the sky empty of any clouds. Everything looked peaceful but strange...like something has threatened it.

I liked the dark better than the light anyway. "Ashley!! You're already an hour late for school. Hurry and come downstairs," my aunt called from the kitchen.
My mum died last year and I had no idea were my dad was or even who he was so my aunt took me in. I should be thankful she even wanted me.

"Coming!!" I called back. I was already dressed and ready to go. I grabbed my bag and ran downstairs. No time for breakfast...I was already really late. "I've gotta run. I'll get breakfast from the canteen," I said before dashing out.

"Take care," she said.

I stared at the door to my first class. I was 23 minutes late for my second class. I missed my first. What was I going to say once I got it in?

I hesitated for a while but once I tried to reach for the handle a pale hand beat me to it. He opened the door and went inside. He didn't look at me..or say anything. It was like he couldn't even see me.

I followed him inside and felt Mrs. huney's cold glare on me. Nobody said anything until I was seated.
"Ok class," Mrs. huney began. She cleared her throat before continuing. "This is Christian's first year in school. He's always been home schooled so he hasn't really been in a school before. Please be nice to him."

I stared at him and shuddered. Suddenly I was feeling cold. He was so pale and handsome. His hair was black and his eyes were a beautiful silver. It was almost impossible for me to believe such beauty existed. His bangs covered his left eye.
He was wearing tight black jeans, a black shirt and black converse shoes.

He was still standing next to the teacher who was now talking to him privately while the rest of the class whispered about his appearance.

"Please sit behind Ashley," she finally said.

I quickly looked away as Christian walked past me and took his place behind me.
I felt a little uneasy...just like I had this morning...
