Dark Room Full Of Death

I am not very good at writing poems but I figure I need the practice =] Tell me how it is xx

If a heart breaks
Do you hear it?
No, would be my answer
But damn! do you feel it
And the pain
Ask anyone -

Is unbearable to the point of suicide
A thousand burning knives to the heart
You're most important organ
Ripping itself to shreds
Trying to get rid of the pain
Nothing can stop it
Nothing can calm it

Forget being civil,
Forget being human!
It's just you and torture
Locked in a dark room full of death
Fighting it out till the end
Until you can finally rest
And clap yourself on the back
That you're alive

Before it starts all over again
