Dark Mundane Night

This genteel expression is relevant to urban life and speaks upon the mundane lineament of the night after daytime.
So ebony dark is the night
So unlike night of cloudy skies
The moon shone bright
Resembling so much like a solitaire

Beating the clamor of the diurnal day
Slinking in, it slips on
Freeing the nocturnal animals
Trammeled so long in a trap

Unbeknownst it cloaks
The dissonance of not so afar
Breaking those decibels
Resting in respite, not unlike
So mundane, the yesternight

'Til the morning stars dawn
With the smell of the dew
Clamoring daybreak
Expunging through the placid
Tranquility

Bewailing sadness
Touches the heart
Seizing human form;
Rakehell breaks loose
In the shimmer

Heralding the closing
Of Nox's reign
But only to await
The night jessamine
Yet another time
