"It's alright Thomas. I'm perfectly fine. We need to negotiate with him."
"That's great. How am I supposed to do that?"
Erika stood there and stared at Thomas's shoes.
"Why don't you let him run Dark City with you. He'll be glad, come together and rule." Erika smiled.
Thomas's face lit up, "That's a great idea."
Thomas and Erika walked over to Logan, the red-eyed vampire, and Thomas took a deep breath.
"You can run Dark City with me, but you leave Erika alone."
"That's fair." he agreed. "Fine, I'll meet you later." Then Logan disappeared.
Thomas picked Erika up and she smiled.
"I'm glad that is over." Thomas said.
"Yeah, now we need to get Lucy."
Thomas laid his head on Erika's head. "Don't worry; how many times I have to tell you?"
"A lot." she laughed
Thomas walked into the house with Erika.

Thomas brought Erika some breakfast; french toast and bacon.
"This is pretty good!" she happily said. "I wish I could cook this good."
"A matter of time." he smiled.
Thomas sat down at the table and sighed.
"I thought I was going to lose you."
"Oh, don't worry about me." she smirked. "Can I go back to my job. The worse I have to worry is Lucy."
"Alright. I'll keep an eye out for you." he eyed Erika.
She mouthed thanks to him, and he got up and picked Erika up.
"Where are you taking me?"
"Bedroom."
Erika smiled and started to kiss him. Her hands around his neck and his grip tightened around her. Thomas's mouth went to her neck.
Erika moaned and put her hands in his hair. He went to a wall and they kissed harder. His hands all over her body, touching every spot imaginable.
"Do you want me, like, a vampire?" Erika asked.
"Yes and no. Yes because you'd be with me forever. No because you'd lose everything."
They got to the bedroom and Thomas took off Erika's shirt. His hand on her bra, feeling her small breasts. Her back arched when he rubbed her stomach and slid his hand down her pants. They kissed again and Thomas laid his head down on her shoulder.
"I'm sorry. I can't think straight right now. I don't know what to do." Thomas sighed heavily.
Erika shifted her body and hugged him. "Why don't you think and I'll go in to work. If they ask and they will, I'll tell them I forgot something and you have work to be done."
"You're one smart woman." he smirked.
"I know." she kissed him again. "You should talk to Logan about partnership. The sooner you talk to him, the smoother it will go."
"Yeah, yeah." he got up slowly and found some better clothes.
Erika got up and pulled her shirt back on.
FIRST, GO TO HOUSE FOR CLOTHES. TWO, BE CAREFUL WITH LUCY. THREE, NO RED-EYED VAMPIRE AFTER ME, YES!
She walked over to Thomas, kissed him and left.

Thomas reached his office and there stood Logan and his wide smile.
"Hello, I'm Logan and ready to run." He shaved and his black hair soothed out.
"Alright, I'll tell you the events, I normally do. I can do morning shifts and you can do night shift." Thomas tossed out.
"Fair. Show me inside."
Thomas walked through the halls, pointing out offices for workers, bathrooms, break-rooms, lunch rooms, then got to his office.
"Your office is amazing!" Logan shouted.
The darken windows, mahogany desk, air conditioned room.
"When can I start?"
"Today." Thomas declared. "Come in around six and get things squared away."
Logan walked towards the door and turned around.
"Thanks again. I hope you and your lady go far." and he left.
"That's great. How am I supposed to do that?"
Erika stood there and stared at Thomas's shoes.
