Dark Love - Ch.15
Erika and Thomas is in an argument and Thomas tries to solve it.
Sorry this is short and I haven't wrote any new chapters in a while. My computer is broken and using library's computer. Enjoy it!
Erika slammed the bedroom door shut and sat down on the bed. She covered her eyes with her hands and warm tears rolled into her palms.
"Why does my life involves argument and anger?" she muttered. "All I want is to love someone and be happy. Seems like it's not possible."
Erika laid down and looked at the ceiling, nothing exciting to see.
"Erika, are you alright? Can I come in?" Thomas's voice stated behind the bedroom door.
"I'm fine, it's your house; come in." she muttered.
Thomas opened the door and Erika's back towards him. He walked over and laid on the bed beside her.
"I'm sorry I'm crabby. I don't want you dead. Lucy and the rogue will come back to finish you."
Erika slightly shrugged and then went silent.
Thomas grabbed Erika and flipped her around.
"Jesus Erika, I care for you, the only thing you do is shrug?" Thomas angrily declared.
"Sorry." she whispered. "It looks like you want me to go, so I'll go. I'll pack my bags and leave town. If I don't come back," she closed her eyes, "don't bother looking for me."
Erika got up and headed towards the door, but Thomas stopped her.
"You really know how to push me far." he growled. "Seems like you use reverse psychology on me." he touched her wrist. "I know I'm going to regret my judgment but I'm keeping you here. I don't know what's out there beyond Dark City."
Joy flooded through her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him.
"Thanks, that made me feel better." she smiled.
Thomas rolls his eyes and picked her up.
"Just stay well hidden, don't let people know where you are. I have a high tech. security system so you'd be safe." Hopefully. "Why don't you get dressed and I'll make breakfast for you."
"Thanks." she kissed Thomas, then he went through the door.
