Dangerous Love - The Final Part 2

Fear is like loving without being loved back,

And being an empty vase, noisy and bereft

ADRIAN

His heart felt like it was on fire, like he was dying but it was okay. His eyes closed slowly as the pain became unbearable. He could hear Oceana crying trying to do her best but it wasn't working. The little girl squeezed his hand tightly trying to keep him awake but it wasn't working. ''You can't die'' she cried ''You can't''. He wished he could calm her but he didn't know what to say. He just gripped her hand and kept bearing the pain. There was another shock to his heart that made him scream. His grip on the little girls hand loosen and his eyes close.

CAMRYN

She screamed as they stopped the car at the house. Grim picked her up and carried her upstairs. Her stomach was on fire as he placed on the bed. She screamed as another shock went through her body. It felt like her insides were ripping apart, this baby was really ready to come out. She clutched the covers needing something to hold on to, she wished she could hold on to Adrian but he probably wasn't coming. She sniffled and screamed the pain becoming too much to handle. ''Camryn hold my hand'' Alexandra told her extending her hand. She roughly grabbed it and squeezed tight, Alexandra didn't seem to mind. James stripped her of her pants ''You are doing good Camryn, all you need to do is push''. She nodded furiously and started to push. She screamed when she felt blood, leak out. Tears rushed out of her as she pushed again. She felt more water rush out, she leaned back panting tears running down her face. She looked at Alexandra ''I don't think I can do this without him'' she cried. Alexandra wiped sweat off her forehead ''Camryn you are stronger than you give yourself credit for, just think about Adrian and the beautiful baby you guys created and let that give you strength''. She nodded in agreement and pushed again. She screamed as more blood rushed out.''You are almost there, Camryn'' James reassured her. She pushed again and felt a sharp strike against her stomach. It felt like her stomach was ripping, she threw back her head and screamed as the pain strike her stomach. Alexandra looked at James scared ''What's happening''. ''It looks like the baby ripping itself out'' he told her. ''Help'' Camryn cried as blood leaked from her mouth. ''Do something it could kill her'' grim yelled at James.

Alexandra pushed Camryn on her back, removing the pillows beneath her. ''Save it'' Camryn yelled blood running from her mouth. ''Camryn keep pushing'' James yelled toward her. She tried to push but she felt a strike every time, she pushed. She screamed as she felt something large slid out.''One more push Camryn you are almost there''. Camryn gave it all as she pushed one full last time, blood rushed from her mouth and body as she heard the sound of a small cry. Everything began to spin as she tried to get up she was too weak. She felt like she was dying. There was so much blood everywhere. The cry continued to go on. She tried to reach for the baby but her body was limp. She wished for Adrian dearly. She felt another hand wound in hers. She looked to see an angel smiling down on her, his face staring intently at her. ''Adrian'' she gasped weakly. The angel smiled and reached down to touch its lips to her neck. Their as a sharp sting that made her groan but then it was over and she was drinking something. It was a sweet liquid, she had tasted it before, she gulped it down then lay back, as the angel smoothed her head. He placed a kiss on her lips as she fell asleep.

She awoke to the sweet smell of eggs and bacon. She rubbed her eyes and she sat up. She felt different, like strong. James lay in a chair next to her sleeping peacefully. She looked around the room for the baby but it wasn't there. She started to get up when James awoke and stared at her wide-eyed. ''James'' she murmured. He smiled and rushed toward the door ''Guys'' he called. He stared at her as Alexandra, grim and Oceana walked in. ''You are awake'' Alexandra hugged her. ''How long have I been asleep''. ''Just 3 days'' Grim told her sitting in a chair. ''Where is the baby'' she asked worried. They looked at the door. ''Right here a voice called walking in. She smiled wide as Adrian walked in holding a light pink blanket. There was a soft cooing sound as he sat next to Camryn and handed the bay to her. It was a girl, beautiful soft milk skin. Cute pale blue eyes ad strings of black hair. ''She's beautiful'' Camryn cooed. The baby cooed and stretched out her hand and touched her face. ''We didn't want to name her until you woke up'' Adrian told her smiling. She looked at Adrian then back at the little girl what should they name her?. She was beautiful like her father, she had the face of an angel,well that's what she is.

She looked down at the little girl smiling ''Angel''. Adrian looked down frowning ''Why would you want to name her that. It reminds me of my past''. She touched his face ''I don't want it to, I want it to remind you of the precious child we created. She is an angel and you are too, never forget that'' she smiled at him and he smiled back. He touched the little girls face and she smiled ''Angel it is then''. Angel smiled and cooed reaching out both hands to her parents. Alexandra, James, Grim and Oceana crowded around angel. ''She is going to be special'' James murmured. They nodded in agreement and stared at her.

EPILOGUE 3 WEEKS LATER

CAMRYN

She held angel in her hands as she rocked her back and forth. Angel smiled up at her and touched her face. Her hands then reached out to Adrian as he came holding her cup of blood. ''She's hungry'' he amused as he picked her up and feed her the bottle. ''You think'' Camryn laughed and Adrian joined. ''Going away presents'' grim yelled walking down the stairs holding a large rattle. Oceana walking behind him carrying a large basket of treats.

He handed it to Camryn and hugged her. ''Are you sure you can't stay'' Alexandra asked coming out of the kitchen. ''No thanks my place is traveling the world with Myst'' Grim smiled, hugging Adrian goodbye. He kissed angel's hand and nodded toward Camryn. Oceana handed Camryn the basket and kissed her cheek ''Make sure to come and visit". Oceana smiled ''Of course but for a while the siren world needs a queen''. Oceana nodded at Adrian and walked out. ''I'm going to miss them especially Grim'' Alexandra frowned. ''So I guess I'm chopped liver'' James asked standing by the door. ''Of course not baby you are a steak'' she told him wrapping her hands around his shoulders. He smiled and kissed her cheeks ''Alright hand me my niece,'' he told Adrian. Adrian carefully handed angel to James as she sucked on the bottle. Camryn smiled at them and steeped outside, Adrian followed her. He wrapped her hands around her waist ''What's wrong love'' he asked. ''I'm just thinking I could have died and never had a chance to see you or angel'' she whispered. ''But I wasn't going to let you die, that's why I made you a vampire''.

She turned toward him ''So, you are the angel who saved my life''. ''Of course I would die before you do''. He crushed his lips to her inhaling her sweet scent. She hugged Adrian close to her as they stood outside staring at the sun. She was now a vampire,she had a beautiful daughter and the love her of her life. Her life was now perfect. His hands wrapped her closer to him as his lips touched her lips. ''There was something I wanted to ask you but never got a chance''. ''What is it'' she replied. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small ring with a large diamond. ''She gasped looking at the ring, then at him ''Adrian''. He bent down on one knee and took her hand ''Camryn will you marry me'' he asked. ''Yes'' she nodded quickly as he slid the ring on her finger. He grabbed her hugging her. He span her around as they kissed. They were cheering in the background as Alexandra and James stood watching. Angel staring at them while sucking her bottle. Alexandra ran to her hugging her. James patted him on the back. Camryn held Adrian's hand as they walked back into the house. This was the life. She always wanted it was perfect, better than perfect, magnificent. She had Adrian and angel and incredible nothing could ruin this. Absolutely nothing she was where she belonged.

GRIM

He walked toward his car where Myst waited, a hand roughly grabbed him and span him around. ''Summer what do you want'' he growled. She smiled and said ''Information now spill''. He looked at her'' He is happy more happy, than he ever was with you and he has a family don't mess with that.'' He walked closer to her ''Leave Adrian alone''. She grabbed him by the neck and launched him toward a car ''Who are you to tell me what to do. I f I want something I take it'' she growled walking away from him. He sighed shaking his head as he hopped in the car. He looked back in Adrian direction and sped off.

I fear not death nor do I fear life,
But I fear the fear of both as my peers;
If I could release one fear from my fears
It would be the fear of fearing these fears.
