Another home remedy to cure dandruff is done with vinegar. In a bowl, take 2 teaspoons of vinegar and combine it with 6 teaspoons of water. When these ingredients are thoroughly mixed, apply it into your scalp. Wrap a dry towel on your head and let the vinegar mixture stay there for the entire night. On the next morning, wash and rinse your hair with shampoo and then, rinse one more time with a mixture of water and vinegar. This process has to be done once every month, at least for three months to achieve best results.

Another home remedy that has been used by people since ages to cure the problem of dandruff is the use of lemon juice. For this, squeeze one lime into a bowl and apply it on your scalp. Let the lemon juice remain on your scalp for ten to fifteen minutes and then wash off as usual. This method is one of the most effective method of removing dandruff as well as to make one's hair healthy and glowing.
