Dancing In the Rain (4)
Wow. lots of comments on the previous one... Comments appreciated and enjoy!
Aiden and Nick sat at their usual table, with Peter, Luke and Aiden's brother, Aaron.
"Guess what?" Nick whispered as he placed his tray on the table and sat down.
"Don't tell me that you hurt another girl's heart again?" Peter teased.
"If you tell them anything about this morning, you are dead meat" Aiden's glare seemed to say.
"N-n-no but I won't tell you since i'll get killed by our fellow man here" Nick said.
"Tell us what happened man. We all can keep a secret" Luke pestered.
Aiden groaned.
"Fine. It was a girl I met at the gate. happy?" Aiden finally said and his mates, mouths agape just stared at him.
Aaron was first to recover.
"You got to be kidding me. Please tell me that you weren't the one who took an interest in her first?" Aaron said.
"Can't. Cause it's true" Aiden said, getting his ears ready for the long lecture.
"Dude! Correct me if I'm wrong but you swore yourself off girls since you left Lauren 5 years ago" Aaron pointed out.
Apparently, Lauren and her friends had to walk past that particular table to get to their own. And Lauren had heard what Aaron said. She stopped in her tracks.
"That's why I'm so confused! Can't you guys be of any help at all?!" Aide said it a bit too loudly and everyone stared at them.
"Don't know Al up to you what you think" Aaron said.
"Don't you dare call me what Lauren used to call me!!" Aiden was now on his feet, shouting.
Lauren dropped her tray and it made a loud sound, making people look at her, including Aiden and the group.
"Lauren. Are you okay?" Summer came forward but Lauren didn't say anything, she just looked down.
"I never saw her before. Probably a new student." Peter whispered to Luke.
Luke just nodded but his eyes were kept to the scene in front of them.
"Are you okay?" Aaron placed a hand on Lauren's arm but she just took it off.
"Hey. That's weird. She took off Aaron Collin's hand" whispers from the fan club girls.
All alone, standing in the rain
You left me here once again.
You promised me would see each other
But you never came Lauren's ringtone interrupted the silence.
If I'm not mistaken.... that voice was... Aiden thought but he pushed that out of his thoughts.
"Hello? ... Hey Mich... I'm fine... how are you fitting in?.... What?! Who bullied you?!.... Okay. I'll see you at home" and with that, Lauren hung up.
"That... "I'll see you at home"... you're not thinking of going back are you?" worry was seen in Summer's face.
"I'm sorry.... Michael needs me. He was beaten up by some guys at his new school.... besides its fine since now, my heart's at ease knowing that I had not been forgotten, right..." Lauren turned to Aiden, who was shocked by her resemblance to the girl he used to play with.
"Al?" Lauren said, in her melodic voice before turning away and going out of the school.
"No way... Aiden? How did she know that name?" Aaron looked at his brother, capturing his every move.
"Yeah.... Lauren... Michael.... and my name.... too much coincidence unless of course that can't be the case.... what's her last name anyway?" Aiden asked.
"Her name's Lauren Rollins" Summer offered.
The two brothers looked at her in shock and in the next minute, Aiden was running out of the cafeteria, to find the girl who changed his life.

Sorry it's short again =_=. I'm really busy with school. My form teacher is loading us with homework. Plus a project from Mr. Lu is more pressure. I'll update soon though.
