Dance Instructor Resume

In this article, we will take a look at the format and resume of a dance instructor.
Making a dance instructor resume is not a big deal as it is similar to that of any resume writing as far as the format is concerned. Take a look at the format as well as a sample in the following paragraphs.

Dance Instructor Resume Format

Name & Contact Details: This section should have your name along with the contact details as in your postal, email addresses and contact numbers.

Objective: This is a formal introduction to what you expect from the company and what is your motive behind applying in the particular place for employment. This point will be cleared in the sample given below. However, it is advisable that you study a bit about the firm or institute so that you can add few words of praise. Doing this will not only show a positive outlook towards the organization but show your interest level as well as enthusiasm.

Qualifications: This section is meant for portraying your extra qualifications other than the formal education details and professional or work experience. For example, mention if you are trained in some special form of dancing. Mention your strong and positive points with respect to the job profile. For example, if you have multi-lingual skills, it can be mentioned in this section if you are applying in an international organization or an institute where there are many foreigner students.

Professional History: It should be mentioned in a simple and yet detailed manner, as we will see in the example below. But more importantly, what is to be noted is the order of it. The order of mentioning the details should be reverse chronological. It means, your latest working experience should be mentioned first.

Educational History: Your formal education along with specializations in subjects you think are relevant for your employment purposes plus others are to be specified here.

Extra Activities: This section can be very beneficial if you are actively or otherwise involved in some extra activity. For example, if you conduct some classes or are called guest instructor, etc.

Personal Details: This part should have the languages known to you, date of birth, etc.

Reference: This section is to be given upon request and hence to be mentioned as the same.
