Daddy, please don’t hurt me again

Dads hurt us kids in many ways, why can’t they learn to just behave?
Daddy, you hurt me once,
you hurt me twice.
Please don’t hurt me again.
3 years of life was good,
7 years of life was ok.
But now it’s horrid.
Horrid is just as bad as horrified.
You have scared me more than 2 times,
but you have frightened me twice times 5.
I’m frightened because I think
you will leave me and never come back,
I’m scared because I thought you'd die.
I now only get to see you maybe 2 times a year,
now limit that down to 1.
You have hurt my hart as bad as you have hurt your own.
You may not realize it,
but everyone around you has.
You drink to take the pain away,
but then you never quit 'cus the pain keeps coming back.
I love you with all my hart,
but please,
I beg of you,
don’t hurt me again.
I love you daddy, now please come back to your little girl.
A letter to tell all else who has hurt all of us:
Love is an opportunity that can equal up to a whole other
world full of pleasure, not a case filled with mystery,
waiting to be solved.
