Beagle: This medium-sized dog breed is one of the most sought-after dogs ever. It is an ideal family dog, provided, you have enough space for its outdoor activities. Beagles are very energetic, loving, gentle in nature and physically strong. But, they have to be trained properly, so as to prevent them from chewing anything and everything that comes their way. They have short coats and so, shedding is not a problem with beagles. However, average shedding may be expected. These dogs too are very active and require lots of exercise. You may opt for daily brisk walking. Obesity can be a problem in beagles too and this can lead to other health problems like those of the heart and the joints.



Pugs: You will surely come across these short and stocky dogs in almost all lists of cutest dogs. They are small-sized with a wrinkly face and expressive eyes. Their body has a roughly square shape and the tail is curled over their back. They are ideal as family dogs, as pugs are gentle, loving and affectionate with a very happy disposition. Pugs are said to be one of the oldest dog breeds and are highly intelligent and playful. These dogs are very sensitive; so, be gentle to them. They can also be trained easily, but, care is required, as they are prone to many health problems and obesity. Other health problems of pugs include allergies, breathing problems, swelling of cornea and pug dog encephalitis. They are also vulnerable to cold caused by extreme weather conditions. Yorkshire Terrier: Yorkies are undoubtedly cute and are considered one of the attractive dogs in the world. They are very popular for their small size and a coat that hangs to the ground, on either side of their body. This dog has lots of hair on its head and is often found tied up. They are very loving and energetic in nature. Yorkshire terriers are much valued for their intelligence and are good as watchdogs. If you have space constraints, then Yorkies are ideal pets. However, proper handling of these dogs is necessary, especially, if you have kids in your house. These dogs require regular grooming, as they have long hair, but, Yorkies are not prone to shedding. You must also make sure to clean their teeth regularly, so that they remain as they naturally are - cute.
