CSI’s Gary Dourdan Charged
It has been reported that CSI co-star Gary Dourdan has officially been charged with felony possession of heroin, cocaine and ecstasy after his arrest last month.

Dourdan, 41, was arrested in Palm Springs on April 28 after police found him sleeping in his car a little after 5 a.m. His car was reportedly parked on the wrong side of the street and the interior light was on. He was found to be in possession of heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and prescription drugs. He was arrested and posted $5,000 bail and was released.
Dourdan reportedly claims that the drugs belong to people he took to a Coachella Music Festival VIP after-party. Even though he claimed that the drugs were not his, a CSI insider revealed that the cast has been worried about him and that the arrest was not a surprise. The insider said, "After this, I think there will be a concerted effort to convince Gary to get help – before he kills himself." Dourdan released a statement shortly after his arrest that said, "Obviously I am embarrassed to find myself in this situation, and I am profoundly grateful to everyone for their support. I have complete confidence and respect for the justice system and will cooperate fully with any investigation."
His arraignment has been set for May 28. It has been reported that if he is convicted, he faces probation and possibly some drug treatment. Dourdan was previously married to model Roshumba Williams. The couple married in 1992 and was divorced two years later. He has two children, a son Lyric and daughter, Nyla, from a previous relationship. Dourdan has played Warrick Brown, a crime scene investigator, on CBS hit show CSI for the past two years. It has been reported that his character will leave the show this season.
