Crystalline - Chapter Three
The wedding celebration of Beleg and Adonnenniel. Introduction to Laymore.

He met me and pulled me against him almost immediately. He kissed me deeply and pushed me against the back of the wall. Our breath was raspy and I couldn't barely grasp the knob to the door. It jabbed my back and I shoved myself forward more into him. He let go and whispered, "Your elven blood stirs me. I want you so bad, Adonnenniel. Let us go into your rooms...I cannot wait for you." I tried to hide a grin and pushed him lightly away, "I have fallen in love with you Beleg but we cannot ruin our betrothal. We must wait."
The next thing I knew he was on my again kissing my neck and his hand went up the back of my shirt. His tongue met mine in heated passion. I couldn't control myself and I was spiraling more to the edge of oblivion more by the moment. I found that secret spot on his back where his wings were supposed to be. I caressed it and he shuddered beneath my touch. He whispered, "You torture me, meleth nin." I gasped as he caught my hand and brought it to his lips.
He suckled on each finger making the tingling in my stomach become a great big bang. I thought surely I would burst from need. He pulled me into my bedroom unbeknownst to me. I shuddered once more in ecstasy as his fingers traced the outline of my jaw and then crept to capture the hem of my t-shirt. It came off within seconds. He threw it onto the floor and then unbuttoned my jeans. I quickly made his own trousers and shirt come off. I ran my own hands over the smoothness of his chest.
He had no hair there which did not catch me off guard. I figured as much deep down in thought. He unbuttoned the snaps to my bra and it landed on a messy pile on the floor. Breath caught in equal gasps as we landed with a thud on my bed. His hands touched me places I never thought a man might touch a woman. When we were finally connected I felt as though I had finally found my peace and completion. When we were done, we lay beside one another in complete awe of the other one. I couldn't imagine a complete happiness more than this one.
He whispered against my ear, "Tonight we were married. Your blood is on the sheets as proof of our union. The elders will examine them and then it will be known to everyone that you are my wife." I thought the examination was rather irrelevant in my own thoughts and rather gross. Why would someone want to consider you married after you done the dirty deed? I almost laughed but kept it all to myself. I just nodded and he went to show it later to the elders.
Then I heard a big yell and a celebration began in Lyndonosh. I raised an eyebrow as Beleg's and mine hands were tied together with a white ribbon. The main elder stood and pronounced, "The signifies that Beleg Prince of the Fae is now husband to Adonnenniel Princess of the Elves. If anyone should have anything trite to say upon it, let them speak now, but the union will not be broken." I smiled at Beleg and felt my heart bubble with happiness.
Suddenly someone stood out from the audience. He had glowing yellow eyes and black hair down to his shoulders. I raised my eyebrow and looked at my now husband. The intruder said, "My name is Taymore and I am the prince of the werewolves. I came here to break up a wedding that is not meant to be. Beleg has no right to the princess. She is my betrothed! My father and her own father signed an agreement years ago that when she became sixteen winters of age, she and I would be wed."
Beleg's eyes went wide and he turned to look at me. I shrugged and Taymore came up to us. He looked me in the eyes, his yellow-black eyes starring at me with pride and dignity. They all looked to me as if they were waiting for me to speak. "Well I certainly knew of no pact or agreement. I haven't seen my father in days. I don't know what to say. It is too late for me marrying Taymore. My heart and soul remain to Beleg."
Beleg looked at me and took my hand. He squeezed it gently. Taymore looked into my eyes and then at Beleg, "I spoke to the winds and they told me of her coming. I was late perhaps, but this is not a binding marriage between you two until her father has spoken to my own father, or to myself. I deny anything that is said between you...be it vows or her own body and soul."
I growled and was becoming more annoyed by the moment with this prince of the werewolves. What on God's green earth did he want with me? After he left and the celebration continued Beleg came to me while I was walking by the river, "I am sorry for his outburst. Laymore has been quiet for years and has not spoken a word in Lyndonosh. He is from the land of wolves we call Hornburg. It is a mighty forest full of wolves and all sorts of dark creatures. Supposedly vampires inhabit the trees there. If your father has indeed spoken of your hand to Taymore, then I have no further thing to say than by the rights of Crystalline, you will be his wife. Does your heart say that you could love him though, Adonnenniel?"
I sighed and shook my head, "No, my heart will never belong to him, Beleg. My heart has belonged to you since I got here, I just did not know of it then. How can I love someone I do not even know? He is a werewolf...what would a child born of he and I be like?"
He laughed and kissed my forehead, slowly bringing me against him, "I do not know, meleth nin. Perhaps something vile and evil and snarling." He laughed again and I chuckled with him. He looked at me and sighed, "For now rest, I assure you are my wife...till proof is set before the elders, Taymore shall not see you in his bed or arms."
I could only think what a weird world this truly was.
