Crystalline - Chapter Six
Taymore and Adonnenniel get married. They learn they share common kindness for others.

I needed him to take me and help me get to the village. Suddenly as if I had said it loud enough for him to hear he was there in the flesh. His strong muscular arms swept around me. He whispered against my ear, "You needed me and I knew it..." We ran through the trees and when I got there, it was no people dying, they were mourning. I raised an eyebrow and looked at Taymore, "What is this? I thought the village was being attacked!" He went up behind me and put his arms around me. "No one is being attacked, love. They are mourning for the old year and casting on a new smile for the new one."
I just looked at him oddly. I didn't understand all this but I laughed and flung my arms around his neck. Suddenly I felt very happy. I was happy because this was a new year for myself as well. A new beginning in a new odd world. He kissed me deeply and I didn't bother to nudge him off. Instead I let my tongue dance against his harmonously. He moaned and took control of the kiss pushing me inside someone's house. I let go long enough to ask, "Isn't this someone's house?"
He laughed and kissed me again. "Yeah so? Don't worry they are at the celebration." He kept kissing me and I couldn't help but reach up and slide the shirt over his muscular torso. He pushed me against the wall and took my legs, wrapping them around his waist. He reached up and kissed me passionately once more. He stopped suddenly and I felt a perfect abandon. He was breathing hard and whispered against my ear, "Bond with me...If you have ever done anything in your entire life become mine and together we will one day rule Crystalline."
I trusted him. I don't know or understand why but I did. I took my hand and put it to his cheek, "I can see myself being beside you but you have to promise me something. I want you to promise to always be loyal to me, never betray me, and even though the truth may hurt me, always tell me the truth."
He nuzzled my neck, "Yes...I promise to always watch over you, always tell you the truth no matter what, and to always be loyal to you. I will always be your loving husband, your watcher, and your protector. Now where were we?" He laughed and it was then his touch brought fire to my skin. He was loving as he undid his pants and let them slide to the floor. I raced to pull my own down over my hips. When they all lay in a pool at our feet I looked in his eyes. He smiled showing pearly whites.
He pushed inside me making tears come to my eyes. I had nothing besides my love to give him. Beleg had taken my rights as a woman long before. He knew this and he swept the tears away with his hand. He smiled, "I will tell everyone that I was the one to take them. It will be between us, my love."
I couldn't look at him for the time being. The hurt from Beleg was still in my heart and was evident as Taymore made love to me. I found my release and felt myself spin towards that wonderful euphoria. After we were done, Taymore smiled against my ear. "I cannot believe that you are mine now. I have waited for you for years. To think it has come down to this....you are now my wife. Do you accept that you and I will be as one forever?"
I couldn't have been more happy. I nodded slowly and looked into those gorgeous dark eyes, "I accept that you are my husband and I your wife...and that we will be together forever as one." I bubbled over on the inside with happiness. We went out into the celebration and Taymore went up to his father. When he came back Taymore's father gathered everyone's attention. He looked to the crowd and said, "By the power invested in me by our Creator, I, King Townsend of Hornburg announce the marriage of my son Prince Taymore to Princess Adonnenniel of Crystalline. May their union be happy and fruitful for years to come! Let us celebrate the marriage of our prince to the princess that will one day take back her rightful place."
Everyone cheered even my own father and I smiled at my husband. He smiled back at me and we were whisked off into our new home. It wasn't nothing big and extravagant but it was our home. It was somewhere we could both grow and have our own family one day. He kept his smile as people planted gifts at our front door. I asked, "Why do people give us gifts?"
He chuckled, "Well I guess its kinda tradition. We're married and all and well, its new housewarming gifts. Have you ever felt so happy that you might burst?"
I shrugged. "I feel that way now I guess."
We went to bed about an hour later and I couldn't have been more happy. I had the perfect husband now and now the perfect life. I loved it in Hornburg and I vowed silently that one way or another, I would send my sister to whatever afterlife she deserved.
