Materials Needed
- 2 to 4 yards of colored fabric for skirt and skirt sheet
- Measuring tape
- Colored thread
- Scissors/Cutters
- Sewing machine (optional)
- To start, you will need to cut the crib skirt length in an appropriate manner, as the later steps depend on this cutting. Therefore, measure the crib mattress dimensions and then cut two/four pieces of skirt fabric accordingly. Also cut one piece of skirt sheet, which is the part of the skirt that stays under the mattress.
- Hem all the sides of the fabric to give a clean edge to each side, so that you don't notice treads pulled out from them. Then place the skirt sheet in the center, and with the machine or by hand, stitch one of the edges of each skirt fabric pieces to the respective sides of the skirt sheet.
