the sun will come up soon.
When we doubt the powers within.
This earth will stop from spin.
Keeping us in darkened night.
With no chance of seeing daylight.
If it seems the sun is lost.
Hold on to the light you sine on us.
Without you this place is dark.
However small you make your mark.
Trust that times you'll be full or new.
Even in dark your kept in view.
So close is the brightness of day.
Hours more this dark won't stay.
Every day we see the same.
Sun and moon around and tame.
Coming back and keeping time.
Keep us safe from being blind.

Small or big you make things bright.
Pushing tides, and pulling seas.
However dark that times may seem.
Stay up and show you gleam.
