Cream Cheese Frosting Without Powdered Sugar Recipe

Ingredients
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1½ cup Neufchatel cheese softened

  • 1 tbsp. rum
  • ¾ cup maple syrup

Cream Cheese Frosting for Carrot Cake

Ingredients
  • 6 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1½ cups vegetable oil
  • ½ cup raisins
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • ¾ tsp. ground nutmeg
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups finely grated peeled carrots
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 4 tsp. vanilla extract
  • Two 8-ounce packages of cream cheese at room temperature
Procedure
Preheat the oven at 325 degrees, also anoint three 9 inches diameter cake pans with 1½ inch high-sides. With a wax paper, line up the bottom of the pans and grease the wax paper lightly. Beat vegetable oil and sugar in an electric mixer. Now add eggs, one at a time and beat well after each addition. Sift salt, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, oil and sugar. Stir in chopped pecans, raisins and carrots. Now pour the batter equally into the prepared pans. Bake for about 45 minutes. Let the cakes cool completely. For frosting - beat 4 cups powdered sugar, 4 tsp vanilla extract, ½ cup unsalted butter and two 8-ounce packages of cream cheese. Place one layer of the cake on platter. Spread it with ¾ cup frosting. Top another cake layer and again spread ¾ cup frosting. Now spread the remaining cake platter also. Cream Cheese Frosting for Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients
  • 1 cup milk (at 80 to 90 degrees)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • ¼ cup water (80 to 90 degrees)
  • 1 tbsp. active dry yeast
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup vanilla instant pudding mix
  • ¼ cup butter, softened
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 tbs butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1½ tsp milk
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup butter, softened
  • ½ tsp vanilla
Procedure
Place dough ingredients in a bread machine, according to the manufacturer's manual, select the dough setting on the bread machine. Check after 5 minutes, and add water or flour, if needed. Only a tbs. at a time. When the cycle completes, let it to rest for 10 minutes. In a bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon and roll dough into 20x10 inches rectangle. Spread it with 3 tbs. butter and sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon mixture; roll it up, starting with the long side, jelly-roll style; pinch seam to seal. Now cut it into 20, one inch thick slice. Place 12 slices into a greased 9x13 inch pan and the rest of the rolls into a 7x11 inch greased pan. Cover and let it rise in a warm place, for about 45 minutes. After it is raised, bake in a 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack for about 5 minutes. For frosting, beat 4 ounce cream cheese, ½ tsp vanilla, ¼ cup softened butter, 1½ cups powdered sugar, 1½ tsp milk. Frost the warmed rolls and remove rolls from pan and store in fridge. Cream Cheese Frosting for Cupcakes

Ingredients
  • 250g unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups self-raising flour, sifted
  • 1½ cups caster sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 125g unsalted butter, softened
  • Assorted sweets, to decorate
  • 4 cups icing sugar, sifted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 250g cream cheese, softened
Procedure
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Beat butter, ¼ tsp salt, sugar and vanilla until light. Add in eggs, one at a time, beat well. Add half of the sifted flour and half milk, stir and add the remaining flour and milk. Line two 12-hole muffin tins with cake cases paper, fill it with 2 tbsp. mixture into each paper case and bake for 20 minutes. Let the cakes cool. For frosting, beat butter, cheese, vanilla and cream for 3 minutes and gradually add icing sugar. Keep in the fridge for 1 hour. After one hour, spread the frosting over cooled cupcakes and then decorate with assorted sweets.
