Nature Pictures
This paper craft project involves decoration with the help of naturally available things such as feathers, stones, seeds, leaves, seashells, acorns, tiny pine cones, etc. One should decide upon a suitable theme for this project and then proceed further. Themes such as seashells or autumn leaves are commonly used. One can use his own creativity and designing skills to make the craft work catchy and much more interesting. A poster or matte is required to arrange the decorative items. The pieces of these decorative materials are then glued to a poster board.

Homemade Modeling Clay
To prepare modeling clay at home one would need a cup of boiling water, 2 cups of salt and a cup of cornstarch. The process of making clay begins with mixing the water and salt. The mixture should be heated till boiling point. In a separate container, the cornstarch should be mixed with cold water. The starch need to be poured in the water until it attains a liquid texture. The liquid starch should be added to the salt-water mixture. The mixture should be stirred until it becomes thick. It should be poured on to a wax paper and allowed to cool. Dividing the clay in different sections facilitates their coloring. Food colors should be used for coloring the clay. The clay can be rolled out flat with the help of a bottle or a rolling pin. Cracks should be pressed out before the clay becomes dry.

Kids Party Favors
For this kids art activity, one would require cardboard tubes, pipe cleaners, candy, glue, yarn scraps, plastic foam balls (1½") and crepe paper. The cardboard tubes (4½") should be filled with candy or other surprise items and packed with crepe paper. The plastic foam ball should be painted in black color and kept aside for drying. Pipe cleaners are required to make the legs, tail and ears. The plastic foam ball should be used as the head for the cat. A long pipe cleaner for the tail, 4 shorter ones for legs and 2 tiny ones for ears should be cut and glued to the cardboard tube. Yarn scraps are used to make whiskers, eyes, nose and the mouth.

Ship Mobile for Kids
The materials needed for this kids craft project include walnut shell halves, construction paper, toothpicks, yarn, wire, glue and hangers. The toothpicks should be glued to the walnut shell halves across the top centers. Construction paper is used to prepare sails. The sails need to be glued to the center of toothpicks. Threads can be used for rigging. In order to attach the ships to hangers, yarn should be used.

Thing Keepers
One would require metal tins, glue, bright colored felt and paints for this project. The tin should first be cleaned thoroughly and then allowed to dry for sometime. The inside of the tin should be lined with felt with the help of glue. The lid could be painted with the help of paints or designed using a fabric. These 'thing keepers' are useful for storing items and accessories of daily use.
