Craft Ideas for Boys # 1 - Nameplate for Bike

Materials required

• wooden board cut in a rectangle
• paint

Procedure: Paint the wooden board yellow and the border in blue. Paint the name in black color.Let it dry and afterwards, attach it to the front of the bike. Personalizing their bikes by making nameplates is a sure shot way to bring a proud smile on your boys' lips.

Craft Ideas for Boys # 2 - First Aid Kits

Materials required

• lunch box
• white paper
• markers
• scissors
• first aid supplies like bandage, antibacterial soap, tweezers, petroleum jelly, antibiotic ointment

Procedure: Take two white papers and write "First Aid" on them with a red marker. Also make a "+ "sign on them .Take the lunch box, clean it thoroughly and sanitize it. Stick the papers on both sides of the lunch box. Put the first aid supplies in the box and the kit is ready for use.

Materials required

• coke cans (parents should remove the lid of the can and see to it that there are no sharp edges)
• colored paper
• glue
• scissors
• old comic books

Procedure: Stick the colored paper all around the can with glue. Make small cutouts of your favorite comic book characters. Paste them on the paper wrapped tin. Put pencils in the holder and keep it on the study table for use.

Materials required

• cardboard
• white paper
• paint
• scissors
• glue

Procedure: Cut the cardboard in the shape of a square. Cover it with white paper. Paint a skeletal head on it with black paint. Below the face write, "Beware of the Owner" with black paint. A young boy will enjoy this as it projects him as someone superior and different.

Craft Ideas for Boys # 5 - Robots

Materials required

• a toilet paper tube
• construction paper (yellow and blue)
• aluminum foil
• marker
• glue
• scissors
• 2 straws

Procedure: Cover the toilet paper tube with the aluminum foil. Cut both the construction papers in the shape of small squares. Draw black buttons with a marker on the red square and stick it to the bottom of the can.On the yellow square make eyes and stick it on top of the tin just above the yellow square. Mould the straws in the shape of antennae and stick them on top of the robot. A brand new robot is ready for your kids to play with. Even small boys aged 5-7 years enjoy playing with robots. So this craft activity can be undertaken by small kids too, under your guidance.
