Dijon Sauce for Crab Cakes
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp of Dijon mustard
- 1 small minced shallot
- 1 minced garlic clove
- Pinch of kosher salt
- Pepper to taste
- 1 cup white wine
- 1 tbsp butter
- Over medium heat, you should saute shallot and garlic together in vegetable oil, until shallot changes its color.
- Deglaze pan with wine until the wine becomes half of its original quantity.
