Coyotes, or the prairie wolves, are found all through the North and Central regions of America. They are known to reach speeds as high as 43mph when they are in pursuit. These pack animals are carnivorous and rely on opportunistic feeding. Coyotes were made famous by the Looney Tunes cartoon, 'Coyote and Roadrunner'.
