Coyotes

Coyotes, or the prairie wolves, are found all through the North and Central regions of America. They are known to reach speeds as high as 43mph when they are in pursuit. These pack animals are carnivorous and rely on opportunistic feeding. Coyotes were made famous by the Looney Tunes cartoon, 'Coyote and Roadrunner'. There is also a movie made on their name 'Coyote Ugly', but it is based on a bar of the same name and has unfortunately has nothing to do with these amazing creatures.
