Coward

Another one on the helplessness of it all.
Once I thought I had it all
but how quickly did I fall

How did I come to be in this hell
living as an empty shell

If I don't fight I'll suffocate
and I ponder whether that's my fate

Had a reason and a purpose
wind blows and now I'm worthless

Living in my head I realize
that nothing's changed, it was all lies

One bright spot my sweet daughter
how can I miss out on her laughter

But need to grab life on my terms
rot in peace and feed the worms

...
I am a coward, I always knew it
I'll do it quickly, head meet my bullet
