All you need to do is use a medium grit sandpaper and scratch the laminate surface thoroughly. When you have finished working on entire length of laminate, just remove the dust formed over it. Now spread glue on this surface evenly. As mentioned above, it needs to be done carefully. Now lay the new laminate over it. Finish by flattening it with a roller.
