Count Dracula's Wife

It is currently unfinished. About Dracula and his wife. By the way I am nine years old.
On a dark night one cold November, on a lonely road, not known on a map, a stranger unfamiliar to those parts, was walking up a gravel pathway. When he came to a thick, black, Iron Gate, he paused. He had been given a quest but should he complete it? After all it was risking every ounce of life in him. Deciding he would risk his life, he fingered the gate’s handle, as if he was deciding if he should polish it or not. Pulling up a bit of courage he pulled the handle down and opened the gate.

Tick Tock. Time was going, he had to hurry up or it would be too late. Checking the floor for booby traps he took a few steps forwards. He had managed to get to the front steps to the house. Nothing was going to make him go back, not now after he had got this far. Then suddenly WHAM!!!!!!!!!!!!! A door flew open, and behind it was a dark haired lady. On her face he saw something disgusting, something yuck-,

"Blood" He whispered to himself, terrified.

She had an evil look on her face, and then as though she had been waiting for him to scream, because he did not, a look of disappointment hit her face. Her dribbling mouth opened and she snarled,

"Well, well, well. Look who’s here! You’re too late. I’ve fed your friend’s soul to my poor husband. He needed a new body anyway. You know what, I think you should join your friend in what you humans call heaven. So could you just step inside and wait for me to roast you or do you want to be eaten raw? Please don’t make a fuss. I’m trying to be kind here."

He turned back to run, her cold hand slithered onto his shoulder and he was pulled into her house, and he had never screamed as loud as he did then. After all his work, he had lost everything, including his life.

Day’s later, miles away in Roydon, the daughter of the dead man was at Roydon primary school. Her name was Marietta and she was mourning her father’s death. She had no idea where her father had even worked, nor how he had died.

"Oh Jessie, I really wish I knew how my dad died. All I know about my dad’s work was that your dad worked there too." Marietta said to her friend, Jessie.

"Oh Marietta, just leave it." Mimicked Jessie, "I wish I knew too, but it’s getting boring, discussing it every playtime."

"Ooh, can you excuse me a second Jessie, I need to go to the toilet!" and with that Marietta ran off to the toilet. She really needed to go to the toilet all of a sudden.

When she got to the bathroom she suddenly felt a rush of energy and she didn’t need the toilet anymore. Suddenly the mirror started glowing.

"Would you like to avenge your father?" Came a deep voice from the mirror.

"Y-yes." Stammered Marietta.

"Stick your head down the toilet and we will suck you to our base then." The voice told her.

"Err-excuse me, that’s disgusting." Marietta said.

"Would you like to avenge your father or not? If you do, then do as I told you." The voice snapped fiercely.

She thought she’d better not try to protest so she asked the mirror,

"Can I bring a friend?"

"If you really want to." Replied the mirror in a sour tone.

So she ran out and called Jessie. When they returned Jessie told Marietta that she would put her head in first, in case anything happened.

Jessie was whirled down the toilet. Then Marietta took deep breaths and pushed her head in too. With a whiz she found herself flushed down the toilet but strangely she didn’t see the sewers.

Jessie sat quietly on a cushioned chair that she had been told to sit in, because her father would come to meet her very soon. The room was peculiar because all the walls were made of glass, including the floor. On her right she could see a man examining what looked like a mobile phone but she didn’t think it was one, because of the noise it was making. Then on her left a man put on a motorbike helmet, and slid down a great big tube in the floor. She kept on taking sideway glances to see if Marietta was coming from the lift, which she herself had just been in.

"Oh Jessie I see you’ve discovered the wonders of this place. This building is extremely anti-ghoul." as Jessie turned around she noticed that her dad was perched on a kind of glider thing in mid-air.

"Dad? What are you doing on that thing? Why are you even here, I thought you worked in London?" Jessie asked half excitedly and half angrily.

"Well, I’m testing this gadget out, and this place is right under your school so we’re not in London."

Now let’s get back to Marietta. She came out in a big office, which had posters about being "Anti-vampire."

"Hello there young one…. You found my office all right did you? Or did Mathew steer you through the road down there?" Came a voice from behind a big red seat. The seat swivelled round and Marietta saw the face of the man.

He was a giant of a person, with little stubby fingers. He curled his long beard round and round his tiny thumb. When Marietta found her voice she asked,

"Err…. What road? I didn’t see anything at all."

He twisted his beard once again, then after a few awkward seconds he answered, "Ah…that’s right, Mathew must have put you to sleep, oh by the way you know you needed the toilet, that was only to lure you here. Well then, we should take you to see your friend then."

Without warning her chair strapped her onto itself and started flying down a staircase, Marietta slouched down, starting to enjoy herself.

She arrived in the room where Jessie was and the girls gave a half glance at each other then started to chat.

"Girls…Girls! There is no time for talking, when there’s a vampire on the loose!" Shouted Jessie’s dad over their noise.

"Wait…. my dad…did he die by…" Marietta stammered, as the noise silenced.

"Yes. I’m afraid that Dracula ate your dad. It was a surprise even to us. We thought we had killed Dracula last year. Either he is not dead, or one of his slave wives, has strengthened him. It is possible that he could have possessed another body. I believe he has." Said Jessie’s dad.

A plump woman ran in and screamed, "Dracula has come out in the open in the local school above us! HELP! The children who go there are not safe! We must save the school children! HURRY!" As soon as she had finished that sentence, she ran out the room to warn others.

Marietta’s eyes widened with fear. So did Jessie’s.

"Please… We need to save our friends…. We go to that school… Let us do the job… Please…" Marietta begged.

"Its very dangerous. I warn you. Dracula is trying to make an army out of school children." Warned Jessie’s dad.

"We don’t care dad. We must save our school." Jessie said quietly.

They ran out of the room and went into the elevator.

Ten minutes later they were back in the girls toilets in Roydon School.

They heard screams and something marching, or someone. Could this be Dracula’s Army?

The light suddenly switched itself off.

"Jessie? Did you turn off the light? I didn’t do it." Whispered Marietta.

"No. I didn’t. Let’s get out of here, it’s spooky." Replied Jessie. They ran out of the bathroom and checked the coast.

"It’s clear, let’s go to the hall it might be less creepy." Called Marietta back to Jessie, as she ran across the playground. The playground was different than it was two hours ago. The adventure playground was deserted apart from the school’s cat, Timber. Over by the bus shelter, there were some of the teachers huddled with a few of the younger kids. On the field a man was leading a group of blank eyed children. ‘That could have be Dracula’s army’ thought Marietta. The rest of the children weren’t there, or in many of the classrooms.

In the hall, there was every child cramped in there. They was screaming coming from the early years room. Every few seconds, a dark haired woman took a child to the early years room, and another scream would be heard. The child that had been taken would pass the hall after their scream, but they were blank eyed.
