The brand owner is called the franchisor. The operator of the franchise in a local area is called the franchise owner or franchisee. Each thriving franchise owner needs to have at least the following qualities for the franchise they are running to succeed. They are:-
  • Have the ability to replicate the proven franchise system
  • Devoted to the system
  • Committed to serving their customers
  • Good with people
  • Have their family’s backing from the outset
  • Able to raise enough capital to buy and run their chosen franchise business
What makes a bad franchisee?

Not everyone is cut out for being a franchisee. Avoid franchising if you:-
  • Are not confident that you have the full support of your family
  • Don't have enough funds to start up your selected system
  • Don't like following the ideas of others
  • Find it difficult to organise time and priorities
