Corrupt Somaliland, Somalia’s Most Chaotic Spot. Part V – Reporter Doholl Detained Incommunicado

I also republished a devastating report elaborated by IRIN, which is a unique humanitarian news and analysis service, part of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs; the report bears witness to the socioeconomic impasse where the paranoid gangsters and promoters of secessionism, who rule from Hargeisa, have driven this integral part of Somalia.

In fact, the decision of the Guurti (upper parliament) to peremptorily extend the already illegitimate "president" Dahir Riyale's tenure for another two months (until May 31) is the result of European colonial involvement that took the form of a donation of some US$16 million supposed to help the voter-registration process, which was never completed, nor will it be. With the indirect but scandalous Euro-bribery of 30 selected "elders", the secessionist tyrant got further extension of his already illegal tenure, and the people of Somaliland will have no chance to demonstrate in free elections their total rejection of the Hargeisa gang. The socioeconomic situation in the Somali North will deteriorate gravely, and the political crisis will escalate to a nightmarish level unknown even in Mogadishu.

I republish herewith one editorial and one report that shed more light on the chaotic situation that reigns in lawless Somaliland, testifying to the overwhelming indignation with which all the Northern Somalis reject the shameful Riyaale gang.

Any empty headed person believing that a fair election is going to happen in Somaliland is just empty headed! He or she may share a gene with the vice president!

Guts and courage ought to be our weapon of chose!

Forget about viable elections and think whether Somaliland will survive!

After the Samiri like calf-the Calf of qado and qaat worshippers made by Awil and Reyaale voted for the ultimate destruction of Somaliland whether they understood it that way or not, the debate has changed or must be changed to how to save Somaliland from the due of evil, Awil and Riyaale!. And follow not the bidding of those who transgress the bounds of reason and rationale, those who make mischief in the land and mend not [Al shuaraa ch. 19]

Do not follow the Awil and Riyaale Calf Flow not the evildoers!

A friend of mine said to me, are you still writing? I said, yes, why? He said, jafa Al qalamo can Somaliland!

I looked at him with my eyes fixed on his and at last uttered, silently! may be you are right, God forbid!

Is it over for the 2nd Republic as we hoped her to be, or supposed to be?

That she was supposed to be a just, democratic, conscionable and moral entity run by moral people, but did not happen!

That she was supposed to be an entity for common cause, common ground, consensus and common thought, but did not happen!

That she was supposed to be a respected, recognized and functioning democracy, but did not happen!

However my answer to the above question is, yes, unfortunately, however the final answer rests on the people collectively. Those who worship God and not those who worship the calf of qaat and qado made by Awil and Riyaale, the twin demons of all time! It is to be seen!

Quote 1) Awil declared upon nomination as a minister in Riyaales government in Al jamhuuria newspaper, this: I have joined this government solely for one important reason, and that is-revenge! what ever that means!

Quote 2) Riyaale unashamedly, unconscionably, immorally and daringly said more than three times, in different occasions, in different circumstances this:

If I leave (not even when I leave) or made to do that, than there will not be any more Somaliland after me! That is reminiscent to what Siyad Barre used to say when threatening the nation!

Therefore, it is clear that the twine demons of evil are following their plans to destroy Somaliland! Butt they did not hide their evil intentions from us! They already did much of the destruction! They disgraced Somaliland! Now it seems they want to finish the job.

If we do not confront this treasonous plans by the due,

If we do not defeat this evil force, Somaliland is finished!

People may not follow (only) what I am saying here, but Somali Landers must follow what Allah said:

And follow not the bidding of those who transgress the bounds of reason and rationale, those who make mischief in the land and mend not [Al shuaraa ch.19-v101]

I am not expecting the Awil-Riyaale Calf worshippers to follow what Allah said to do!

Somaliland: Horyaal Reporter Remains In Custody

Hargeisa (Somaliland Globe) — Contrary to earlier reports of the release of all four Horyaal Radio reporters, Ahmed Suleiman Doholl still remains in custody. The other three reporters were released late last night.

Sayid M. Mire, a colleague of Mr. Doholl at Horyaal Radio, told reporters that Doholl has endured an unprovoked beating from the police during his arrest and may need treatment for injuries he sustained.

Chairman of the umbrella group for the Independent Media in Somaliland, Abdillahi M Ukuse, condemned detention and the treatment of the reporters. He said the government seems to be abandoning respect for civil rights guaranteed by the constitution.

He appealed to the officials in Riyale’s administration who made the order to arrest the reporters to release him immediately. He specifically addressed the governor of Hargeisa region (Maroodi-Jeex) Mr. Ali Asad whom Ukuse said may have given the order to arrest the reporters.
