Copywriters can either work as full-fledged employees with advertising agencies or they may free lance their services. Average salary of a copywriter is greatly dependent upon the nature of work of a copywriter. Freshers employed in an advertising firm may earn in the range of USD 30,000 - USD 35,000. Those with 5 to 10 years of experience in this field can expect to earn somewhere around USD 40,000 - USD 60,000. Veterans in this field can earn as high as up to USD 70,000 annually. As you go on collecting experience, you will also see a rise in your income. However, your performance and the kind of projects that you handled in these years also play a pivotal role in deciding your remuneration. Free lance copywriter may earn more than the average income of an employed copywriter. However, freelancing includes a lot of struggle in the initial years as you have to look for projects on your own.

Salary won't be a concern for you once you establish your name in copywriting field. This field offers numerous job opportunities and decent pay packages for the eligible candidates. However, similar to any other field, high performance delivery and commitment towards work is a must.
