Cooking Turkey Breast Cutlets
Cooking turkey breast cutlets is a fairly easy task, and depending on the method of preparation, can be very healthy too. Here are a couple of ways that you can use to learn how to cook turkey cutlets.

Grilled Turkey Breast Cutlets
Ingredients
- 1 tsp cider vinegar
- 1 lb Turkey breast cutlets, raw (4 pieces)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp brown sugar
If you were looking for a way of cooking turkey breast on grill, here is how you do it. Mix together the cider vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, black pepper and garlic powder in a medium-sized bowl. Gradually whisk in the olive oil, till you have a thin paste. Next, place the turkey cutlets under running water and rinse them out, after which you must dry them on paper towels. You want all your cutlets to have uniform thickness. If this is not the case, place them between sheets of plastic wrap and using a meat mallet or a heavy skillet, pound them gently to achieve equal thickness. Transfer the paste to a resealable plastic bag. Next put in the turkey cutlets into the bag and move them around to ensure that they are well coated by the paste. Try to squeeze out as much air as possible and seal the bag well.
Place the bag in the refrigerator for at least an hour or overnight (if possible), to allow it to soak in the marinade. At the time of cooking, heat a nonstick stove-top grill pan over high heat. Once it is well heated, place the cutlets on it and lower the heat to medium. Cook the one side of the cutlets for 3 minutes, turn them over and cook the other side for 3 minutes as well. You want the juices to run clean. If you are cooking turkey breast on gas grill, outdoor grill or one that cooks both sides at once, total cooking time should be between 4 - 5 minutes.
