Converses and Rose Colored Dreams 2
"Hey hun! How was school?" My mom greeted me as I skipped through the door.
"Eh," I shrugged and kissed her on the cheek.
"Well, we are having guests for dinner so go get ready," I just couldn't wipe the grin off my face as I pranced upstairs to get ready. I picked dark skinny jeans, a light blue tanktop, and teal converses. I dashed to the bathroom to finish the look with navy eyeliner, black mascara, and a dusting of sparkly gold powder on my cheek bones. When the door bell rang i felt my heart's beat kick up a notch.
"Lina! They're here! Grab you brothers and bring him down!" My mom shouted. I crossed the hall from my bedroom to the nursery. Laying in a daisy lined crib was my giggling little brother. I picked him up and spun him around making him shriek with glee. "Come on Darry its dinner time," I walked out with him hitched on my hip. I knocked on my other brother's door.

"Hey Jack!! We have company!!" I shouted through his door. Jack was ten and even though he was my brother, one of my best friends.
He opened the door and followed me down stairs to see Ace standing with his parents. I gave Darry to mom and stood by Jack.
"Kids this is the Garreth family. This is Tammy and Scott," She motioned to Ace's parents, "and this is Ace," She smiled at the handsome boy I had developed a tiny crush on already. "These are my kids, Jack, Darry, and Aerlina,"
"It's nice to meet you," I smiled at Ace's parents who smiled back. "And I already met you," I punched Ace playfully in the shoulder.
"Oh you have?" My mom smiled.
"Ya, I have 3 of my classes with Lina," Ace said not taking his eyes from me.
"Well that's nice, you have someone to show you around," Tammy grinned at her son and I.

Dinner was so fun. I made the Garreth family laugh til they had tears streaming down into their spaghetti.
We were at the door saying goodbye to them when I remember my promise to Ace, "Excuse me Mr. and Mrs. Garreth," I said turning on the charm, "Would it be ok if I took Ace around town to show him around?"
"Well I think that's a splendid idea!" Tammy beamed.
"Great!" I grabbed Ace's hand and pulled him out of my house. "Don't worry, Ill have him home at a reasonable hour," I chuckled.
"No no..keep him as long as you want," Scott, his dad, said winking at his son when he thought I wouldn't notice.
It was dark and the street was moist with dew. I lead him down to the boardwalk that went over the river. The street lights reflected off the wet pavement and the air was nice and cool. "We're gonna have fun," I giggled and poked Ace.

"I'm frightened," he teased and I made a face at him. "Mature much?"
"Never." I sighed and grinned up at him. His smile slowly disappeared as we got lost in each other's eyes again. Quickly before I lost control I pulled my gaze from his. "So what do you want to see first?"
"What do you do for fun?" he asked. Automatically I clamped my hand around his wrist and pulled started pulling him fastly, trying to ignore the sparks shooting up my arm. I started running til we got to a bridge that ran across the roaring river. The river was deep after it had rained all last night.
"...This?" He asked looking at the bridge, "How's this fun?" I put my finger up to motion for him to give me a second. I pulled my cell phone out of my pocket, then my ipod. I went to the edge of the bridge and got on the railing balancing my self. "Woah! Lina, don't do-" before he could finish i leaned back and threw myself off the bridge.
"Woo!!!" I shouted doing flips in the air then a nice neat dive into the cold waters of the river.

***Ace's POV***
I watched as she fell backwards over the railing. Panic filled me "Lina!!" I yelled and ran to the edge, only to see her doing flips into the water. Relief flooded through me as I saw her head poke out of the water.
"Come on!" she giggled motioning for me to follow her.
"Uh..I'm going to pass."
"Suit yourself!" She yelled climbing out of the water and coming up the hill and back to me.
"You scared the crap out of me!" I said breathing hard.
Her eyes widened as she saw the true fear behind my eyes.

***Lina's POV***
"Oh..I'm so sorry!" I frowned and couldn't help but give him a tight hug. Sparks flew through my veins. His arms constricted around me hugging me back.
I cleared my throat and pulled back. "Come with me," I grinned and he followed me. I brought him to a small clearing in the woods by the river. My favorite spot to swim.
"Wow," he whispered in awe of the beautiful scenery.
"I know," I grinned at him. His green eyes glittered in the moonlight. I wanted to kiss him. I wanted to so bad. But I just met him...but the little voice inside my head said just do it. Was it to soon?
"What are you thinking?" he whispered.
I shook my head to clear the thoughts I was having, "N-nothing."
"What's that?' he asked motioning to a cabing by the river.
"It's my grandpa's cabin he uses when he comes to visit. I spend a lot of time there, it's kinda like my house." I shrugged.

"That's so cool,"
"Wanna see inside?"
He nodded eagerly and I grabbed the key from my back pocket. We walked inside and I turned on the lights. My stuff was spread through out the family room. Up the stairs was my Jack's room whenever he came with me to spend the night. I gave him the tour of the big cabin.
"Its so nice," he murmured looking around.
"I love it,"
He grinned at me, this time I let myself get lost in his eyes. His sparkling greenish gold eyes. Slowly his face came closer. My eyes closed as his lips came millimeters from mine.
"I think I better get you home," I whispered and turned my head away.
"Ok," he whispered, he and I still wrapped up in the mood we had made.
The whole way home we were silent, but don't get me wrong, the silence was comfortable. My wet close were sticking to my body and softly my body began to shiver. I felt his arm come across my shoulder and he pulled me towards his warm body. I let him soaking up his warmth and the lovely feeling I got deep inside. "You warmer?" He whispered.
