I woke up and it felt like i had just been ran over by a steam roller. Ugh. Moment like these make me wish I was a simple small town girl who has suddenly become the object of a handsome vampires affection..but now...I'm stuck with some British guy who randomly kissed me and a boy who is at the edge of becoming a drunk. "Ugh!" I moaned and smashed a pillow against my face.
"Are you beating yourself with pillows again?" Mary's voice came from the doorway. "What shall I do with you," She had two smoothies in her hand. Her tiny feet skipped over to me and she plopped on my bed thusting one of the smoothies in my face. "Tada! Breakfast, in a cup, all mushed up, IN BED!" She said in a bad French accent. I chuckled and drank the delicious smoothie to stop my growling stomach.
"Mm this is good. What is it, strawberries? Blueberries? i knew a guy who got a blueberry stuck up his nose once, had to go the the hospital to get the bloody sucker outta his nose. Lucion kissed me- the zoo was fun yesterday. Dont you think-" i rushed out.
"Woah woah woah there cowboy...LUCION KISSED YOU!?!" She shrieked.
I pretended not to hear her and took a huge mouthful of smoothie. "Hmm?" I mumbled aorund the chunkes of fruit. She started tickling my sides making me choke on my breakfast that was currently stuffed in my cheeks.
"Tell me or ill make you blow chunks!" She said.
"Yes! Yes he kissed me" I said out of desperation.
"I knew it! Your cheeks were unaturally pink on the way home! Was it a good kiss? Do you love him? Does Gage know?!"
"Woah slow down. His kisses made my bones go all liquidy, I think I'm falling hard for him and no..cause if Gage knows we won't have enough boos for the end of the summer bash..." I said in one big breath.
"Well..this will play out interesting.."
"MMhm.." I agreed taking a big gulp of my smoothie which numbed my heartache with a brain freeze.

Mary left and I was still laying in bed. I closed my eyes not ready to get up and face the awaiting drama of the day. I felt my bed move and I kept completely still, hoping the intruder would think I was asleep. I felt lips kiss up my throat and knew instantly from the bone melting feeling I got it was Lucion.
"I know awake," he whispered. "I can tell by your heart."
"No that's the affect I get when handsome British men kiss me." I said peeking at him from under and arm thrown over my eyes and grinned. He chuckled and tucked my body against his.
"You know Gage is in love with your right.." He whispered. I sighed and nodded. His calloused hands ran through my hair and stroked my back as I lay on his chest. "You should have seen the look of pure hate he gave me when I was walking down here.. I thought he was going to bloody kill me." Lucions arm was around my shoulder pulling me against his side, my head lead on his firm chest my arms circled around his waist. I looked up at him as he stared straight up at the canopy of my bed.
"What are you thinking.." I whispered.
"If I wouldn't have waltzed in here, you'd have made up with Gage already, be in love with him, and he wouldn't have a reason to be drinking." His troubled eyes stayed focused above us.
"Dont blame this on yourself!" I grabbed his chin and forced his eyes to mine. "Its my falt Lucion, not yours..Gage has been drinking off and on for years. Don't ever talk like that again." His eyes searched mine, and when from tormented to apologetic.
"Ok..Im sorry." He whispered. I nodded once and kissed his forehead making him roll his eyes. "Make me feel like I'm 4." So I leaned down and kissed him softly on the lips. "Make me feel like I'm in Jr High.." He said, his eyes on my lips. He pulled me close and kissed me lovingly.
"Get off of her!" A voice shouted. I jumped away from Lucion and Gage stood in the doorway, his eyes filled with pure anger. I stomped over to the bed, and grabbed me, throwing me over his shoulder.
"Gage! Put me down!" I said wacking his back with my fists. But he ignored me and ran out of the room. I could hear Lucion giggling at me and I lifted my head to see him wink reasuringly. I blew him a kiss and let Gage carry me to who knows where. Finally we got to Gage's dark room and he threw me on his bed.
"What where you doing!?" Gage demanded.
"Kissing Lucion.." My eyes were on the floor, I felt like I was getting lectured by my dad.
"Why did you let him!"
"Let him what?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Kiss you!!"
"Because I ..I wanted him to.." I whispered.
"Just because he's good looking..all he is, is a hearbreaking pretty boy." Gage hissed. My head shot up like he had slapped me.
"Excuse me?" I said, my eyes narrowing.
"Heart. Breaking. Pretty. Boy." Gage spat through clenched teeth.
I jumped off of Gages bed and backed him up against a wall. "You don't even know him. He actually cares about me, and if I were to love you over him he wouldn't go drinking himself to death..." I hissed back.
"Get out.." Gage whispered...tears forming in his eyes..I'd gone to far.
"Wait Gage Im sorr-"
"GET. OUT!" he yelled. I stared at him..searching his cold blue eyes that once where bright with youth and happiness.
"Tell the OLD Gage I want him back.." Is all I answered..tears streaming down my face. And with that I walked out of his room and his life.
