I woke up and went downstairs to sit on the couch. There was a staircase to left and right, both leading from the upstairs. And of course, as if my life wasn't twisted and messed up enough, Gage came down the left staircase and Ace down the right. All I did was slap my hand to my forehead. "Shit," I murmured under my breath.
"Morning!" Ace said jumping on the couch with me. I smiled at him and returned the greeting.
"Hey...can I talk to you for a second?" Gage murmured. His eyes were bloodshot, he looked exhausted.
"No," I answered simply. His shoulders slumped and he sighed in frustration.
"Just, please? For a second?" He pleaded. I stared at him for a while and finally sighed and got up to follow him outside. He led me under a tree where no one could here us. "You need to listen to my side of the story, please!" He said grabbing my hands. I pulled my palms out of his grasp.
"Fine, explain."

"Do you know Matilda's last name?" He asked. I look confused and shook my head no. "Its Valatini...as in her father is Richard Valatini..." His eyes searched mine. I shook my head as if saying where in the hell is this going. "Richard Valatini is a HUGE mafia leader...whatever Matilda wants, she gets. And in this case she wanted me. If I didn't ...do what I did last night...I'd be dead. And now she is hanging on me till no end! And I can't refuse her...." He explained. I felt my jaw hang open through the whole story.
"Oh...." Is all I said. "It's ok, I'll tell Mary to kick her out." And with that I spun my back on him and started to walk away.

"So are we ok?" he called after me with a hopeful smile on his face.
"Nope, we're not ok," I glared back at him. "You could have told me LAST NIGHT instead of trying to keep it secret and making me suffer." Then I spun and walked inside. I decided the rest of the summer, there is no such thing as love. I'm gonna flirt, kiss, and dance with any boy I want. Its summer, time to have fun. I'm not a slut, please believe me. I just didn't want anything serious till 1. I was over Gage and 2. summer was over. "Mary!" I called. She skipped in the room.
"Yessum?" She asked.
"You and I are going clubbing tonight,"
"HELL YES!!!" She did an arm pump in the air and dashed off to spread the news to the whole house.

***Later That Night***
I chose skinny red jeans, that trust me, were SKINNY!! I got a black sparkly tank-top with it and instead of wearing pumps like the other girls I wore my black converses. My hair had some volume and loose waves in it and I did a smokey eye with my makeup. And for the finishing touch I tied a red ribbon around my neck. Everyone was out front waiting to get going. I ran down the stairs and when I stepped out of the house all eyes were on me. "......what...??" I asked everyone.
"You look HAWT!" Mary giggled. She was wearing a blue halter top and black jeans and looked gorgeous as always. Everyone else agreed with her and I blushed. I saw Gage just staring, and...Matilda..was on his arm.

I went over to ace who was wearing skinny jeans and a pink polo with a tuxedo jacket over it. He looked very handsome. "Looking good slick," I said walking up to him and poked his rock hard stomach. He chuckled as he heard my finger pop when I poked him. "OUCH!! Remind me to never do that again please,"
"Well you look amazing Lina," He smiled down at me.
"Thanks," I replied, distracted by my sore finger which I was examining for breaks or sprains.
"Come on everyone!! Let's get this party STARTED!" Mary shouted and everyone got in cars and we drove off, totally pumped.

When we got there, the dance floor was packed with grinding sweaty bodies. Smoke filled the club and lights flashed and blinked. The beat pulsed out of the giant speakers all over the club. Before I could speak Mary was already on the dance floor. I chuckled and smiled at her.
I head straight for the bar, squinting as my eyes tried to get used to the darkness. Once they adjusted I felt my pupils dilate. "Hey there cute thang! Want a drink? My treat!" The bartender said. His hair was gold, and messy. I have to say he was very cute but....totally a player, I could tell.

"Sure," I replied, Eh! It was a free drink. "Just get me a soda," He nodded and within seconds a coke sat before me. "Thanks" I smiled. He winked and went on helping other customers. I gulped down the soda and I felt a hand grab my arm. I turned to see Mary's grinning face as she pulled me out on the dance floor. We started dancing and a boy swept Mary away. I gave her a thumbs up and mouthed, 'he's cute!' She nodded in agreement and danced with him.
"Hey," An unfamiliar voice whispered in my ear. I turned to come face to face with a guy. One of his eyes was blue and one was brown. I smiled at him. I could barely talk, he was.......GORGEOUS. If Edward from Twilight was real...I just met him. I felt my blood run hot in my veins. My heart speed up till I thought he would hear it.

"Hi," I whispered back. His dark hair was swept to the left, almost covering his brown eye. His nose was straight and his skin pale. He was perfection.
"What's your name?" He asked.
"Arelina, but call me Lina,"
"Lina...what a beautiful name." He smiled. I felt my cheeks flush and I looked down.
"What's your name?" I asked him.
"Lucion." He replied. (Lu-see-yon)
"I like it," I grinned, "very unique."
"Thank you," He grinned back. "Would you like to dance?"

I nodded and he grabbed my hand. A tingle slid up and down my spine and I shivered happily. Sexy back started playing. He twisted his fingers through mine on both hands. My hips twisted and he stepped closer. His hands left mine and he placed them on my hips and moved them left and right to the beat. I moved closer so our bodies were almost touching. My arms wound around his neck. I glanced to my right to see Mary gaping at the guy I was dancing with.
'I know!!" I mouthed to her when Lucion wasn't looking.
'Invite. him. to. stay. with. us." She mouthed. I shrugged and turned to Lucion who was looking at me amused. He turned to see who I was talking to and started laughing when he saw a blushing, embarrassed Mary.
"Sorry," I chuckled, "She's kinda nuts." He laughed again and pulled me closer.
"So do you live out here?" I asked him.
"Nah, I'm out here for the summer," he said. It was then I noticed the sexy British accent wound through his words.

"Where you from?" I asked.
"England, but I'm moving to Pennsylvania for college." He explained.
I stopped dancing, "really? That's where I'm going! Desales university?" I asked.
His eyes got wide. "Yes!" His smiled broadened and we laughed on the irony.
"What are you going to major in?" He asked me as we started to sway again.
"Theater,"
"Are you serious! Me to," he grinned.
"Wow, this is getting a little creepish," I teased.
"Nah, its cool. I already have a friend." He grinned.
"Where you staying Lucion?"
"With a friend who snores like a wort-hog."

"Well my friend, the crazy one, owns a huge mansion down on the beach. We have 4 spare rooms with their own bathrooms left. You could stay with us! We have like 15 people with us already. It'd be fun. You could ride back to Pennsylvania with us if you'd like." I blushed but still smiled.
"Really? Sure, sounds like fun," he grinned.
"Oh its...its something." I laughed.
"Do I need to pay rent or food or anything."
"Nope, all that's taken care of by Mary's lovely parents."
"It's a dream come true!" Lucion's eyes twinkled.

I laughed and Lucion and I danced the night away. He was a really funny person. I was laughing at his sarcasm when I looked to my right and saw Matilda grinding on Gage. My laughter stopped and I quickly moved my eyes to the other side of the room.
"What is it?" Lucion whispered. I cleared my throat afraid I would start to cry.
"Um..nothing." I glanced over at them again. "I'll tell you later." He nodded and hugged me tightly. Just what I needed.
"Thanks," I whispered. He nodded and grabbed my hand, leading me off the dance floor.
"Hey, ready to go?" Mary asked. I nodded.
"Oh, Lucion is living with us now, lets stop by his friend's house and get his suitcases and stuff." I said.
"Wooo hoo!!!! Welcome to the family!!" Mary whooped. "Im Mary by the way," she smiled.
"Nice to meet you."

"Thanks. Cool accent. Ok, you just gotta tell me how to get to your friend's house." Mary said as we got in the car. Lucion and I in the back. We stopped at his friend's house and we packed the back of the car with his suitcases. When we got to the summer-house his mouth fell open. It was as big as a medium-sized hotel.
"Its bloody HUGE!" He awed.
"Mmhm." I replied. I grabbed his hand and lead him inside.
"Oh ya, don't worry about me, ill get his suticases," Mary called after us sarcastically. I walked him upstairs and howed him his room which was right next door to mine.
"Go ahead and rome free," I teased. "Mary will have breakfast in the morning as usual." I smiled.
"Thanks Lina," He grinned and bent down to kiss my cheek. Lightening filled my body. My toes curled. My breathing stopped. The spot on my cheek where he kissed burned pleasantly. "Now tell me why you got that look on your face at the club when you saw that boy and girl dancing." He said.

"Oh...well see that boy, Gage, attached to the girl, Matilda, was my first love. He cheated on me with her...it hurt so bad I couldn't stand watching." I whispered
"Oh...well, it was his loss," he smiled. I blushed bright red. "Goodnight," He whispered.
"Night," I replied. The moment I hit my pillow I was asleep.

*****Next morning*****
I skipped downstairs to see every girl in the house besides Mary staring at Lucion. "Hey Lina!" Lucion greeted. Once again I was attacked with death glares from all the girls.
"Sup Luci?" I teased him.
"Oh no...a nickname." He said rolling his eyes. "God! Two weeks in America and I already have a girl name for a nickname!" I chuckled and patted his back. He smelled like Abercrombie, mmmm.
"So you silly little American girl, what are we going to do today?" he asked me.
"Wanna go to the zoo?" I joked.
"Sure." he said totally serious.
"Oh..ok" I laughed. "Lets go around 3. Mary wanna come?"
"Ya!" Her eyes were wide with excitement.
"Ok ok! Chill your pants or Ill have to restrain you!"

"Oh, who's this?" Gage said walking into the room. Matilda glued to his arm. Her eyes got wide as she saw Lucion.
"I'm Lucion, Lina's friend."
Gage's eyes bulged then narrowed. "Oh."
"You must be Gage." Lucion said with some hidden anger wove through his british accented voice..
"I must be." Gage returned. Silently the two sized each other up.
"Uh huh...ok well go get ready to go to the zoo, I can tell by Mary's excited shaking we have to go earlier than planned before she spontaneously combusted...." I said.
"Ok," Lucion laughed.
"You're going to the zoo?" Matilda said, sliming towards Lucion. "Can I come?"
"No. Oh, Matilda you have 24 hours to pack your stuff and leave the house before the cops get involved little miss priss." Mary said. I told her last night about what she was doing to Gage. Matilda let out a dramatic gasp.

"Fine, better than hanging with these losers. Wanna come back with me?" She asked Lucion.
"Um..id rather stick my hand in a garbage disposal." he responded. I instantly fell to the ground laughing.
"HAHA!!!!!" Mary joined. I think Lucion was gonna fit in just fine with us.
