  • Take proper rest. Lay your body flat on your back for about 2-4 hours a day. This will help a lot in curing constant upper back pain over time.
  • Go for strolls in frequent intervals if you are in a sedentary occupation. This releases pressure from the back.
  • Warm 2-3 teaspoons of mustard oil and massage a painful back with your fingers in a circular motion. Do it for 5 minutes daily before going to bed.
  • Sleep on a firm mattress on your sides. Place the knees at right angles while resting.
  • Use a hot compress on your back for about 5-10 minutes once daily.
  • Take a bath and a shower with warm water everyday till you notice effective relief in the state of a constant back pain.
  • Drink a glass of warm milk with honey everyday. Have it in the morning to get best possible results.
  • Take help of yoga to reduce pain in the back. Some of the yoga poses meant for back pain relief are Bhujangasana, Halasana, Uttanpadasana, Shalabhasana and Shavasana.
  • Squeeze the juice out of a lemon. Mix 2 teaspoons of common salt to the juice and drink it twice a day to get fast back pain cure.
  • Lose body weight and keep it as close as possible to your ideal body weight according to your BMI ratio. Obesity is many-a-times a cause of constant lower back pain.
  • Perform back exercises on a regular basis to bring down the constant pain.
