Conscientious Objector
Every person has the right to be a pacifist.

The outside world does not exist,
It's just a pessimistic future,
In which I harm myself with hatred.
For the science of the idiots,
Only makes progress for the fools,
Through zombifying narcotics,
And the dictatorship of rules.
I am a deviant from normality,
I find its concept so unreal,
I freak out at its power and authority,
To control the way I feel,
To correct my maladjusted thoughts,
And place them on a path that's right,
But what's right for them, is wrong for me,
It is my catastrophic plight.
I wish they'd leave me in my sanctuary,
Where my thoughts have built their temple,
My own little world where I am free,
From all their heathen principles.
They don't know God like I do,
For they use him as a tool,
For waging power-hungry wars,
Which fill body bags with fools.
Why go out and seek the glory,
Of a premature death?
Why sacrifice yourself for a piece of tin,
To pin upon your breast?
I cannot support a system,
That pitches culture against creed,
While it hides deep in its bunkers,
As the brainwashed innocents bleed.
It seems the world has missed the message,
It hasn't learned by its mistakes,
As power-hungry politicians,
Take pride in what they create,
The systematic genocide,
Of any tolerance for freedom,
The right to choose is forfeited,
And you MUST serve your kingdom,
But what kingdom can you truly have,
If not free to make the choice?
Why should you dedicate your life,
To someone else's voice?
And they call themselves democratic,
As they slowly erode your rights,
Under the banner of hypocrisy,
They call on you to fight.
And you march to war, as millions do,
So proud in your shiny boots,
And you hail your right to freedom,
As the enemy, you shoot,
And with your first kill your realize,
That your leaders have you duped,
Because his freedom meant as much to him,
As your freedom means to you.
I cannot join a conquest,
That only liberates the damned,
Through death on a battlefield,
By obeying their command.
I can't stand behind a veil of ignorance,
Or hide in shadows, deep,
I can only fortify my thoughts,
To resist their mental siege.
So may all the soldiers sheath their swords,
And may all the politicians drown,
Amid all the lies they've told,
In their attempts to keep us down.
For within my mind I know the truth,
And in my heart I will defend her,
For she is freedom, the road to love,
And true love will always conquer.
