In case you are using Mac OS, you just have to right-click on the folder containing the video files to be compressed and choose 'Create Archive'. In both the operating systems, you will view a window that will display the progress of the compression. You can now attach the compressed file to the email and send it easily. In most Mac OS systems today, you do not even need to install WinZip as a separate utility in order to compress video files for email. The utility is already built in by default.

WinZip and WinRAR are few good applications that are generally used by computer users in order to compress video files for email. Using this software, there are even other methods of creating compressed zip files and sending them via email accounts.
