Complicated

Riana have been in many relationships but none worked out. Now that she became a sophomore, she decided to let her heart heal but it seems that it's even getting worse than before...
'Riana, Riana!'

Ah, my mom's waking me up again. I still don't wanna get up.

'Riana, get up! Or else I'll pull you out off the bed!'

'No!,' I replied. I'm very exhausted.
By the way, I'm Riana Carlisle an average girl, a regular student and a totally ordinary person. The only unnatural about my life is how I have fallen and get broken into pieces a lot. Last night, I cried my whole heart out again. My new boyfriend and I JUST broke up. *sigh* but what could I do? Should I let them cheat on me again and again?! Heck, no.

'Okay, you leave me with no choice,' she said lowly and held my feet. She really pulled me from my bed!

"AHHH!" I yelled as I firmly grip on my bed, from the white sheets to the foam underneath, still, I let go and surrendered. I fell with a blag on the floor.
'Come on or you'll be late for school.'

First day of school:
Finally, here I am walking on my way to the campus. Mom won.
A limousine was slowly passing by. I noticed that the person inside was looking at me so I also did the same to him. I saw a kid wearing his earphone, and another behind him but I can't see the other kid that much. This was a bit embarrassing but I think he was cute. He was innocent-looking and his skin was tanned. I also noticed that he was my schoolmate by the symbol of our school at the right collar of his polo shirt underneath his black jacket. The car drove away so I felt a bit lonely and stared at it as I walk...

I arrived to my destination. The classroom was almost full, only three seats were left. Everyone was laughing and talking to one another. None of my classmates last school year were here, but I can manage. I hope.

I went to the seat near the window which is second to the last row and at the last column from the door side. The seat behind me was also empty. I like being at the back. You won't cause too much attention unless you're noisy and wild in class.

The voices of the students mixed and laughter echoed in the room. I stared at the window and remained silent since I'm not familiar with everyone, but they seemed to be friendly with one another even if some met for the first time.

Even so, my heart still hurts. It won't get used to being hurt. I learned to wait. I won't love for now.

I did not notice the door open, rather, I did not care until the room silenced. The teacher came? No.

Instead, a boy came. It was him-- the boy riding the limousine. He came wearing his red headphone, it was an earphone before, and jacket. He looked arrogant now. He wasn't innocent-looking anymore.

He walked towards the middle, in front of class. He stood there. His right foot moved crossing the other, with his left food behind, while hands inside the pockets of his jacket. He wears a killer bad boy smile on his face as he brushes his hair with his hands. He acted so cool-- in his dreams. It won't impress me.

The girls shrieked and felt heat while my expectation crushed and stepped on a thousand times...

Bad boys are NO, NO.
Good boys BARELY exist.
Girls SHOULD remember this.

*sigh* He is getting on my nerves, especially now that he is walking this way!
The headset kid is drawing near…
Even so, I have to keep my cool. And to my doom, he sat behind me.

‘Excuse me,’ he said, ‘May I know your name?’
He leaned near my back so I didn’t turn around. I moved away a little so that I will be safe when I face him.

In my mind my answer is a no. But instead of refusing, I answered: "I’m Riana, PLEASED to meet you". And worse I wore a fake smile, pretending I wasn’t annoyed at him.

He smiled that evil grin of his again…
‘Pleased to meet you too, Riana. By the way, I’m Philip.’

I smiled back at him and turned around to face in front. Luckily, the bell rang when I did. Everyone was still noisy so no one noticed the weird girl entering our room. She sat at the backmost. There she sits still and quiet, almost creepy…

‘Good morning class,’ our adviser came. I almost didn’t notice her. My gaze was fixed on the girl.
‘Good morning ma’am,’ we greeted altogether.
Did you like it and should I continue?
Yes.
No.
