Comfort

This is about findin' comfort in someone when you loved them and then loosin' that comfort as they walk outta your life....
I find comfort in your voice,
with the words that you speak.

I find comfort in your eyes,
in the ways you would look at me.

I find comfort in your smile,
the gentleness of it.

I find comfort in your hands,
that smooth away my roughness.

I find comfort in your lips,
that helped me forget the past pains.

I find comfort in your arms,
they’re protective embracement.

I find comfort in you,
but no longer is my comfort there.
