Come On Keep It Up
This is the second chapter of my book, "WHY CAN'T I?" I wrote this as a result of what I have come to learn about life, that life is just an interesting imagination that we could either make a reality or remains a fantasy... don't ever give up the chase for greatness.

"Not all who plays a game
Wins it
Not all who looks for honor
Finds it
Not all who strives for success
Achieves it
Not all who wants to marry
Do so
Not all who eventually marries
Lives happily ever after."
You are not among that 'all'. You are the 'called'. Just because someone did not make it does not mean you can't. It is widely known that the magnitude of your expectations or your desires justifies the disappointment when it does not work out. Do not use this as an avenue to be downcast. I am not saying you should not be disappointed when you fail a test or when you perform below par. All you have to do is to see every stumbling block as a stepping stone. So despite your disappointment, be prepared for your next appointment. It is true when the Bible says; "The poor you shall always have with you," but it does not mean you are the 'poor'.
Remember God is the sole refuge for all your sorrows and burden. Present your disappointments to Him and you will be surprised what you get in return. The Yoruba says, "If the world collects the mat from you, the Lord would give you a cozy bed." Tom Hopkins said, "The single most important difference between champion achievers and average people is their ability to handle rejection and failure." A friend Tomiwa Daniels normally says, 'I love falling down because it teaches me not to fall down in the same way next time.' Do you know that the best thing about falling down is that when you begin to come back up, it is easier for you jump way higher than when you were standing. Note that when you begin to jump, you soon begin to fly. Do you know that a very successful man David McNally wrote, 'The mistake riddled life is much more interesting and stimulating than those that have never risked anything.'
Never let the mistakes of the past pull you down. The past is gone and today is a new day left to be explored. So why waste time dwelling on the past when you can live today to the fullest and prepare for the unborn tomorrow. An adage says, 'Every misfortune encountered today actually makes the story interesting when it is told in the latter future.' Make sure your life does not end up like Lalis Boone's definition of a wasted life; 'Could have, might have, should have.' Rather see your life like this; 'I will have, how will I have, I have.' A certain man once said, 'Be optimistic. It prepares you for the next challenge if you fail or succeed.'
"Blessed are the heart that mends, because they will never be broken." Said Albert. And then I wonder if there is no broken heart, there will be no healing; If there is no healing, there will be no learning; and if there is no learning, there will be no struggling and what is life without struggles.
