Colors of Life

We are truly a rich lot. Colors abound our understanding and vision. When the 'golden seven' combine, you get the promise of a new day. The inanimate consistently empowers our existence with rich combinations. We too need to capitalize on synthesis – of power, intellect and cultural diversity...
Life comes in every shade of green,
In the hues of blue and crimson red;
It bounces healthy and bounces lean,
Adding meaning to perceived dead.

Look around, it is not difficult to see,
That we are the colors of a destiny;
Red spells dawn and blue, the sea,
And green the color of the fertile lee.

We too spell life in its different forms,
As we earn a higher realm each birth;
Completing task and creating norms,
In blind pursuit of our inherited mirth.

As man has prime duty to provide,
The female form feeds, nourishes;
The child beams with quizzing pride,
As rippling life's stream a-gushes.

The rainbow colors and wild flowers,
Fruits, planets, aves and fertile terrain;
There is color also in inherent powers,
Subtly present in the scent of first rain.

All around is for us to learn and know,
That you and I belong to highest order;
Every color to rake and rightfully hoe,
Beyond space, form or earthly border.

Let color and stroke merge and teach,
A lesson on man's conjoined strength;
We need to rise and attempt to reach,
Rung of combined, empowered length.
