Colloidal silver is processed submicroscopic liquid silver particles suspended in a colloidal state. The particles are so small in size that they can be easily absorbed by the human cells. The silver particles can easily enter and leave the cell walls, and since excess silver is expelled from the body, colloidal silver causes its positive effect over the body without poisoning the body.

In the recent past colloidal silver products are marketed as having a positive effect over chronic diseases like cancer, enlarged prostrate, AIDS and also acne.

The way colloidal silver works

With any contact with colloidal silver the breathing system of any bacterium, virus or any single level organism neutralizes and the organism suffocates and dies. And the organism is expelled from the body by the elimination organs with the help of the immune system and the lymphatic system.

The best part of colloidal silver is that it does not kill the tissue cells like the antibiotics that kill anything that comes in its part – good bacteria, bad bacteria and even tissue cells. But colloidal silver can differentiate between single celled organisms and tissue cells and it leaves the later intact.

This property makes colloidal silver perfectly safe for human beings but it has its own side effects. It has been proved through research that continuous use of colloidal silver can lead to a health condition called argyria. Though colloidal silver kills acne bacteria and does not harm the tissue cells yet it cannot cure acne completely; the reason being it can do nothing about the internal factors that cause acne.

You can kill acne bacteria using antibiotics, benzoyl peroxide and even by using natural solutions like colloidal silver but none of these can cure acne completely since it only deals with the symptoms and does not at all affect the actual cause of the acne.

The only way to permanently cure acne is by holistically neutralizing the internal factors that cause acne.
