• Mattress Pad: The mattresses provided in dorms are very hard and uncomfortable, and they would definitely cause back pain. To avoid this, it is better that you get yourself a quality mattress pad or a bed topper. You could buy one that is of memory foam or an egg crate material.
• Twin XL Sheet: The size of the sheet is a very important aspect that needs to be kept in mind when making purchases. Twin XL is the most popular size. This is because these days most of the colleges furnish their dorms with twin XL beds. It is important that you buy multiple set of sheets as it would not be possible for you to launder your bedding every two weeks. Also, do remember to get a weather check of the place where your college is located, as most of your bedding shopping would be based on this factor. • Color and Fabric: Be it a bedding for girls or for boys, the fabric of the bedding should be durable and should last for a considerable amount of time (Remember you do not want to spend your money on buying a new bedding every semester!) Next comes the color of the bedding. While the color for guys could range from dark blue to brown to even black, girls can stick to cute favorites like pink and green, with a slightly darker shade. Why dark colors? Because if you choose to stick with white or any lighter shade then it gets grimy quickly.
